Another current favorite ride of me is the MH-53. You can download it with a USMC-livery, which makes it look rather ugly, but I was able to get at least a USAF-livery. Hopefully someday someone may come up with a SEA-repaint - it would still have the Pave Low-sensors which the Vietnam-used HH-53Cs did not have, but it certainly would do the trick.
If you use this helo, you will also have to change some basic settings in the aircraft.cfg and the complete .air-file. Otherwise you will get this thing to a cruise speed of ~250KIAS, which is not very realistic. I simply used the .air-file of that cheap looking MH-53 that comes with a two-tone grey-green camo and USMC-markings. Then you need to reduce the empty aircraft weight quite a lot, change the fuel capacity and I also tweaked the seat positions (and therefor the center of gravity) of the pilots.
For FSCAI-integration I simply added some guns (left, right, rear) for air defence and basic entertainment (you can put out some salvos when close to hostile ground unit to "scare" them). Still no effect, but maybe one time... hint hint, Dutch! and to suppress enemy ground units.
The overall flight behaviour is a bit sluggish, and you certainly need to pay attention, since it has a habit of overcorrecting. Also, the autopilot works good, but you have to be VERY sensitive with the auto-hover. The whole aircraft is very tail-heavy and tends to "slip" out of control when in auto-hover. I prefer to go into auto-hover after a manual phase, I can NOT recommend letting the autopilot do the transition form AP-flight into auto-hover. You will definetely end up in a spin.
Doing airdrops though is extremely easy when hovering above the landing strip!

I started working on creating USAF SAR paint schemes for the HH-43 Huskey and the HH-53 Jolly Green but I have some other things I'm committed to, so...... they will be coming eventually

Which HH-53 are you using? A friend of mine already did a SEA-repaint for the MH-53 I´m showing in my post above, but I have to say there is still some room for improvement. It Looks nice and the camo fits into the jungle, but some parts are "off" from the original scheme both in pattern and color.

HAJO All I remember right now is that the model is of an older CH-53 with regular gauges and no refueling probe. I'm at work right now, so I won't be able to look at it until I get home. <EDIT> So, it looks like what I have is the Alphasim CH-53A. Also, I discovered that I have a HH-53C paint for it that wasn't showing up due to a typo in the aircraft.cfg file. I also have the Alphasim MH-53J (which has 4 textures, desert, camo, grey and IFOR) and the Lockheed Martin CH-53E (which I haven't figured out how to start up).

Some good news for those of us who are interested in the Vietnam War era..... someone (Yoyo at sim-outhouse.com )has decided to update the Vietnam War Project scenery to work with P3Dv5 and he is doing a pretty good and thorough job so far. Here is the thread where he shows off what he has done with it... www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php/123429-Vietnam-War-Project-2021-(preview)Unlike FSX@War scenery, the updated Vietnam war Project scenery will not be destructible but it is not difficult to "mix and match" both of types of scenery together. All you have to do is remove the .bgl files you don't want to display and include the ones that you do want and it will work together. This is definitely something to look forward to.

Milviz A-1H Skyrider for P3D v4,5. I guess this is P3Dv4 since Tacpack works and environment is ORBX Papua New Guinea (simulating Laos landscape).

Great looking aircraft! But I have to say that I don´t like the engine sound - it´s not "rough" enough in my ears (although I have no idea how "rough" the real one sounds).
