What about some SpecOp-Type missions like dropping agents or Special Forces behind enemy lines? For "Raven"-flights with the MC-130 for example...
On a sitenote, the supply drops always use some pink-colored parachutes - just a missing texture or intentionally?

Yep Dutch, I noticed in the log they were 15s tagged as 17s. Works just fine, like you said.
Geez, good to know about the 21s. Maybe I'd better make that change. I'm flying the super hornet because I NEED the advantage! š
That's a cool idea for mission type, inserting or extracting special forces units. Would be great for the helo guys, having to hover down low in a clearing for a certain length of time...

Since Sylvain already made a public comment, I suppose it's OK for me to say here.... Yes, the Crusader is being Tacpacked right now. He is planning to give it Sparrows, Zuni's and MK-82's.... and probably MK-83's and MK-84's as well.

Are you going to use TP or FSCAI for arming the F-8?

Once again some feetback concering SEA-missions: I just flew an "Armed Recon"-mission, and, like the last time on thursday, nothing hostile showed up. ThatĀ“s ok, you donĀ“t always have to find something, but IĀ“m a bit suspicious. Maybe the spawning of hostile units is not working correctly on this type of missions? I have the log attached. HAJO

Sylvain intention is to go hardcore Tacpack on the Crusader. Tacpack is new to him so he is having to figure out some things as he works. Also, unlike an A-4 Skyhawk, the Crusader is not as easy to configure with Tacpack. The LAU-33 Zuni pods are not pre-configured in Tacpack....so that has to be worked out. Also, since the crusader was never intended to be a ground attack platform, the way weapon stations are controlled is very rudimentary. For instance, the cockpit weapons control panel does not have a setting for dropping bombs in pairs. The pylons had to be specifically configured (via a switch on the pylon) in order to drop bombs in pairs. In the cockpit, the pilot could only select left or right station. BUT.... depending on how the pylons were set up, if he picks the wrong side with the cockpit switch, the bombs still won't drop in pairs. It's very weird and I can see pilots accidentally ending up with one empty wing and one fully loaded wing and struggling not to crash. So, making all of this work realistically with Tacpack is not easy.

HAJO That mission uses a library entry named "RED_AMBUSH" which scatters possible enemy objects near various airfields with only a 10% probability that any one object will actually spawn. It's likely you won't get shot at - but you could. I feel like this reproduces reality, where most armed recons didn't find anything. Dutch

Just returning from a nice mission "up north" with the F-111.
You got to love the automatic Terrain Following Mode of the SHRS-Aardvark. It always keeps you low donw.
Nearly breaking the sound barrier, but I want to consume fuel.

Nice "homeoffice"
Approaching Vintiane:
A beautiful aircraft!
Scored 160 points... First part of the mission was some CAS near VLXK, then I continued to the aforementioned Railway Yard.
