No bugs or questions here, just a story of a successful mission, since more flying stories were requested earlier in this thread . Rainy dawn launch from Yankee station in Case II conditions for a strike on the Vinh POH facility. Inbound leg uneventful. First run on the target was a high altitude, level ripple release of 4 Mk84s, hiding in the clouds above the range of the AAA. Got a slot in the clouds to look back after the break off target. We appear to have done good: Felt brave, circled back for a visual CCIP run to get rid of the 3 Mk83s. This one put us well down in the flak zone, and things lit up pretty quick: Gunners are dialing it in as we break off target, here's a flak burst just below us and right of the nose as we're graying out from the hard pull, in a hurry to get back in the clouds: And I'm pretty sure THIS one almost got us! But we blasted back into the clouds, running east for the coast. Made it feet wet safely, and found our orbiting tanker. Took a quick plug for a couple thousand pounds of gas for the trip back to Yankee station: Found the boat, weather had improved to rainy Case I conditions, so we make a normal initial up the wake at 800ft and 350kts: ...And fly a Fair 3-wire pass. "Don't settle! Little right for lineup." Battle damage assesment shows we killed it. Completely destroyed every target on site (ok, some of them were damaged from a previous mission already, but we finished em off!)
Sorry for the low-res shots. They're screen caps off a stream video... no other way to catch the action shots like the flak bursts!

At least the "Jolly Green" is not in the standard three-tone SEA-camo in the original file. I think it has two textures: A grey one, which is a representation of the MH-53J Pave Low (with the sensor nose) and then one in the grey/green-camoflage of the USMC.
If you could come up with a SEA-repaint for the Jolly, that would be great!

Just had some fun with my OV-10, doing CAP at PDJ. Sorry, i did not take any pictures while beeing "in the action", but it was indeed hot! At least I was able to damage two vehicles, although i had the impression I even killed some!
When I came home, I saw some sort of "cargo accident"...:
Some impression from the busy airfield of Long Tienh, here we see a C-123 departuing:
The silly C-130 somehow ruins the atmosphere! Up and away!

Bear with me though, since I'm still sorting things out after having to build a new computer. I forgot how complicated it is to start over again.

I´d love to fly one of the Strike-missions with my B52. I therefor made a clever move (at least I thought so) and simply changed my B52 from "LB" (Level Bomber) to "A" (Attacker) in the vehicles-file.
Looks like I need to be cleverer, got no missions...

1. Should @war be running when I start and fly an FSCAI mission? I'm guessing yes? I thought maybe not after my first mission because there was a ton of AAA and I was wondering if FSCAI spawned all its own guns, and then also weaponized all the guns @war spawned, thus I effectively doubled up on the AAA... but then the next mission I did NOT run @war... and arrived over an empty target area. There were a few guns but no buildings or ships to bomb. So I guess @war is intended to be running? Just wanting to make sure I understand that right. Ok, a definite "yes" from my observation!
Was tasked to destroy a truck park and supplies. Went there, no targets. Activated FSX@War and immediatly got the "Engaged"-message by FSCAI and then started working!
One thing I´m wondering, though: I´m pretty sure I killed quite a lot targets on the ground, the FSCAI mission log (on the FSCAI-window) only lists "2" killed targets...

The problem with FSX@WAr targets not being counted as kills has been reproduced and fixed here, the fix will be in the next release.

It is a combat-capable aircraft (assuming your atc_model is correct as "B52") - the vehicle type code ("LB") has little or no effect on when a mission is offered unless that's explicitly a restriction with a REQUIREMENT statement. If it is a restriction it must match (a list of them can be given.)
Pick the "Show Ineligible List" option and it should tell you why the missions aren't being offered.

2 ideas here about that (I'm certainly not Dutch though)" 1. Is your B52 defined as a combat aircraft? Added to the combat.cfg file in the config-std folder? 2. Do the missions you're looking for have a max aircraft size associated with them? The instruction document on .asl scripting explains this. If these missions have a max aircraft size defined, that 52 is almost certainly too big. Might have to modify the mission files to encompass that size aircraft. Real easy though, a one digit edit.

Yeah, I edited the .asl and had the maximum-size changed to "4" - don´t know if the B52 is "bigger"?
And it is in the combat.cfg-file, just checked.

I think I have to put in the maximum for aircraft-size in the missions. I worked with VTUD so far, and set it to "8" - still not enough....?
