Sure, ding us if we don't go to the right gate, but my pax are stranded inside the airplane because I did not update the airport database after installing scenery and FSC is telling me to go to a gate based on the old AFCAD. "Unload here and get in trouble option" seems reasonable.

We resolved this many years ago with something we called, "Consider Me Parked (CMP>)". fscaptain.proboards.com/thread/4038/airports-parking-spot is a good example of CMP. Older versions of FSCaptain required an option of "ENABLE_CMP=1", but newer versions disabled the option leaving it enabled for all Captains. If you have CMP enabled, all you need to do is to go to the PARKING page of the FCDU, and you'll see "CMP>" on the top-right LSK - that's LSK1R. Click on LSK1R and then you can park anywhere you like on the airport - even on the runway! No trouble required or needed... and no penalty for doing so.This works for any airport and for any reason. What Parking Page? Where? It is mentioned ONCE in the manual.
I went through every possible menu and submenu except for the obvious ones such and CANCEL FLT and find no such "parking page."

After you have landed, if it is not a Refueling Stop, and if you have Parking Gates enabled, the Flight Menu page (Page #23) should have " <PARKING" active as LSK 5L. Sorry about the Manual / User Guide. It does need a lot of revision......  Best,  |
