My destination airport only has one parking space and that space is at a fuel box. If I park there P3D will refill my fuel tanks. Will this screw up fscaptain's results? If so, other than picking a different flight, how do I avoid the problem?

Hi Tom, That's a tricky one there.... There's only one parking spot, and it will automagically fill your tanks.Normally, yes you would get dinged for a fuel penalty with FSCaptain if you parked near a fuel trigger, unless you disable the relevant fuel or parking spot option.
Plus your SHIFT-E exit would open for no apparent reason. Over the years, I've used ADE to edit airports which I frequent, removing fuel triggers/spots. All that would take is a quick edit or three, then compile your edited airport into a visible-to-the-sim location, and finally update your various airport databases - FSCaptain, any EFB program you might have, etc. ----- If editing airports isn't your cup of tea, then you could take advantage of an FSCaptain trick that would allow you to park without actually parking on a parking space. It involves an option we call "CMP", which means Consider Me Parked. We think of CMP as a "get out of jail, free" card for those who find themselves in a sticky situation when through no fault of their own, they can't find a valid parking location at an airport. It's easy to use.... First, open your options.cfg file and search for ENABLE_CMP. Change its default value of 0 to 1. Save the file and then run P3D and your FCDU, and make your flight. Once you land, just navigate to the PARKING page of the FCDU, and you'll see "CMP>" on the top-right LSK - that's LSK1R. Click on LSK1R and then you can park anywhere you like on the airport - even on the runway! This works for any airport and for any reason. I've used it on certain occasions when I'm landing at a scenery that is taxing FSX's available VAS - hello EGLL, KJFK, KLAX, KSEA, KSFO, etc - and I know I won't be able to make it to a parking spot in time. I'll hear the FSUIPC "ding of doom" dinging away as I'm trying to make my 4th or 5th short final, and when I finally manage to stop on the runway - Press CMP... Kill my engines... Set parking brakes... I'm IN!! ----- I did have a wild idea several years ago that if you ended your flight on a known fuel trigger (we should be able to spot them using the MakeRunways data) that we would just ignore your suddenly full tanks, and check your fuel against the fuel noted when you landed to see if you've been naughty and refuled in-flight. If that sounds appealing, let us know and I'll see if we can work it in to a future build. Best,

I like the CMP option. It will also work when the spot I'm sent to is already occupied.

Yes it will!... Please recall that FSCaptain can 'zap' occupied parking spots, and there's an option PERCENTZAP which can take a 0 to 100 percent value to decide if a 'zap' should occur. Mine is set to 50%, so sometimes when I'm on approach I get a message that my parking spot has changed to {...} another spot. I personally feel that's a good compromise which Real World Captains would face. Still though, CMP would allow an easy exit from such a pickle.... Best,
