I am getting a message from the FCDU " Invalid Configuration for B738.cfg load or fuel does not match fuel or payload defined in aircraft.cfg file. Default mapping will be used. After I start the FCDU, it then takes away all my fuel, and does not let me fill the tanks. Please advise...

Hi Cdufault1120,
this is a configuration problem that can be fixed, but we need more information. Can you send us (click on the blue text below) a zip file containing your FSCaptain\Data\Logs directory, your FSCaptain\Aircraft directory and the aircraft.cfg file of your airplane model in FSX\Simobjects\Airplanes ? Please send it to everyone in the team and copy the html address of this thread in your message so that all of us can think about this.
Best, Peter

Hi Cdufault1120,
are you flying the default B737-800? I noticed that the "Type" in B73D.cfg and B737-800.cfg is "B73D" (first line in these files). Usually, FSCaptain looks for a type of B738 if you fly a B737-800, so this could have something to do with your problem. The aircraft.cfg file that you sent contains a line "atc_model=B738", so FSCaptain would look for this type. Try to change the "type" line in the above files to B738 and see if that helps.
Best, Peter

Hi Peter,
Where are you seeing B73D.cfg? I am definitely not seeing that anywhere....

Hi Cdufault1120,
in your FSCaptain\Aircraft folder, there is a file B73D.cfg, and in FSCaptain\Aircraft\Maps folder, there is a file B737_800.cfg. The first line of both files reads "Type=B73D". I believe that this could be the origin of your problems. You could temporarily rename these files to "B73D.cfg.disabled" and "B737_800.cfg.disabled" and see whether this solved your problems, or whether FSCaptain creates a new file in FSCaptain\Aircraft.
Best, Peter

Hi Cdufault1120,
FSCaptain doesn't consider the amount of fuel in individual tanks, just the total amount of fuel (and the order in which the tanks are filled). You can modify the total amount of fuel in the Administrator under "Aircraft characteristics". Judging from your aircraft.cfg file you should either load B738.cfg or B737-800.cfg and change the fuel capacity (top right).
What I do not understand: I checked your configuration files for all 737-800 variants and the fuel capacity is consistently correct (one file has only 40000 lbs instead of 45000 lbs, but that's not that big a difference). Maybe send us the FCDU.log files (as a zip file) to see why you didn't get enough fuel.
Cheers, Peter

I'm emailing you a screen shot of the FCDU at start up. This system wont let me display it here.
