OK, imported aircraft.cfg and then got into this lovely can't-win situation: And, yeah, the baggage area can handle just 30# bags for a full load. (50x3=1500). The arbitrary 37 is getting in the way I think.

Hello Mjl1966,
here are some things you could try:
1) You didn't specify names for your stations, and it is possible that FSCaptain gets confused by this. I suggest putting the short descriptions from your first screen shot into the name cells.
2) FSCaptain randomly assigns a baggage weight between 20 and 60 pounds per PAX. I think the 37 lbs are the minimum value required for FSCaptain to do so. Is increasing the baggage unit size from 30 to 40 lbs an option for you?
3) You could try using larger values for bags (e.g., 60 units weighing 40 lbs each) and see if that enables you to save the load map. Once it is saved, you could edit the values using Notepad.exe and see if FSCaptain accepts the change.
Cheers, Peter

Hello Mjl,
The load map which we ship is old and does not have enough variables to make it valid for newer FSCaptains. By the way, it looks as if you're not running the latest FSCaptain, so I'm going to have to guess at a few things here....
First, you did well to import from the aircraft.cfg file!
The class of passenger aircraft with 50 seats uses an average of 30 lbs of baggage per passenger, but also calculates a maximum baggage allowance which includes an extra 25% of the average weight. So 30 + (30 * 0.25) is 37.5, which we round down to 37 lbs per passenger.
The Embraer spec sheet for the 145 lists the 145 LR as having a maximum payload of 12755 lbs.
If you set your Cargo allowance to 50 x 40 lbs, you should wind up with enough capacity to satisfy your FSCaptain Administrator and still be below the Embraer spec.
Try this and let us know what you find.
Providing an ADMIN log when dispatching an aircraft, and an FCDU log when loading that aircraft would be most helpful to diagnose real problems. Working with an up-to-date FSCaptain would also be most helpful.
Best regards,
