Hi Ryankeevs,
I'm looking at two possible causes to your crashes, but I need to ask you some rather boring questions first.
What was your last FS change before this behavior started? Had you just upgraded from a previous FSCaptain?? Had you installed some new aircraft?? Or is this a brand-new install of FSCaptain that
simply isn't working??
---------
Now I have some requests for you....
1. Look in your \FSCaptain\Config\profile.cfg file and look for a line which begins with "SUPPORTS=". If it's present, please change the value of that line to "=22". If there is no such line present, please add this line to your profile.cfg file:
SUPPORTS=22
Please do not ever post this file to the forum. It contains your license key and we would have to invalidate it and issue you another one... which will take time.
2. Look in your \FSCaptain\Aircraft\ folder for a file named "MyAircraft.csv" and please add that to a ZIP file and prepare to email it to me or post it in this thread - I don't believe this forum accepts .csv uploads.
Whether this file is or is not present, please follow the next request....
3. Open your "\FSCaptain\Config\no_scan_folders.txt" file, add the following line to it
at the bottom / end of the file, and save the file:
\PMDG
This should prevent any PMDG aircraft from appearing in your Administrator... so it's only for current testing purposes. The reason I've chosen "\PMDG| is that you have more entries for them than any other aircraft - which is one of my possible causes - so by excluding them for this test, it should make the largest difference.
4. Next, run your Administrator and see if there is any difference. Add the ADMIN log file to your ZIP file to send to us.
You do run your Administrator "as administrator", correct? If not, please change your shortcut's Properties!
5. If there is still no joy in running your Administrator, go back to your "\FSCaptain\Config\no_scan_folders.txt" file, add the following line to it at the bottom / end of the file, and save the file:
\QualityWings
This should prevent any QualityWings aircraft from appearing... again it's for testing purposes. One of their aircraft has the longest pathname of your other aircraft, and that's the other possible cause I'm looking at.
6. Finally, run your Administrator again and see if there is any difference. Add this ADMIN log file to your ZIP file to send to us.

Thanks for your understanding of my requests... and since our heatwave finally passed today, I'll be back in the forum much more often.
Best,
