Hello, My vision is poor, so I have to use a minimum resolution of 1366x768 to be able to read my screen. The problem is at that resolution the Administrator window does not display the "OK," "Cancel," etc. buttons at bottom and the window cannot be moved. I have to use a workaround of temporarily changing to 1920x1080 and using a magnifying glass to finish and close the Administrator then switch back to 1366x768. I have been a developer in the past. Can the Administrator window be set to be movable like other Win10 windows or add scrollbars?

Hi Calvin, As a developer, you know that nothing is impossible. But it's beyond my C++ abilities to do so. The Administrator is not a standard dialog control. It's something called a "Property Page" and and such has different characteristics. For example, there is no taskbar button. I assume that's why in a lower resolution it renders "center screen" and doesn't render with the Title Bar onscreen. I did not know that happened.Back in 2009 or so, Dutch chose to do this so the Administrator could appear within the simulator. No one knew how to make a normal dialog do that back then. The thought of me trying to add and manage panel scrollbars in C++ is laughable. (I used to be a .Net developer... that would be easy-peasy.) The only workaround I could manage would be to resize all of the tabs to be "wide" rather than "tall". Once my PC situation settles down I may try doing such in a sandbox environment so I don't break anything. Best,

Hi Calvin I am legally blind and have this issue with software from time to time. You can use the "tab" key or "shift+tab" key to move the highlighted button on a page and then just hit "enter" when you are on the right key. Here is an example when I am scheduling a flight and I click on the commit button and then the "yes" button to add it to my log. Now I want to close the page, but in your case you cannot see the "okay" button. go to the top left of the page and click in the day box for the date. You will see a cursor after the number in that box. Hold down the "shift" key and press the "tab" key once this will highlight the "apply" button that you cannot see. Hold shift and press the "tab" key again to highlight the "cancel" button you cannot see. Hold shift and press the "tab" key a third time and you are now on the "okay" button. press "enter" and the page will close.
This works on every page you just need to click the first option at the top left of each page, and then the "shift+tab" will take you backwards to the "apply" "cancel" and "okay" buttons you cannot see. I hope this helps.
You can also look into some magnification software from "Freedom Scientific" This way you can have the resolution set high, but you can magnify the screen to a size that allows you to read what you need to read. In health and Happiness Michael

Hi Michael, Thanks for sharing that tip, and we hope that it can help someone until I can try to change the size of the Administrator. One thing that I'd like to add... on my system when I create a flight as you describe, the Apply button is greyed out and the first "shift+tab" keypress moves the focus from the day/date textbox to the tab strip at the top... the strip which shows all of the FSCaptain tabs which are available. Your second "shift+tab" keypress does move the focus to the Cancel button which then accepts the enter key press. It works the same when all is said and done though. Best,

Captains, When you get your hands on 1.8.3 Service Pack 1 - Alpha 1 (say that five times fast!), you'll see the Administrator has been resized. (I found that sandbox which allowed me to tinker.) Here's the current state as of less than 30 minutes ago. It's not final... and there will need to be buyoff from testers and then lots of aligning and spacing, etc. Best,
