Hello, Firsty I would like to ask the ideal settings for FSLabs A320. I'm using these addons which are related to boarding /planning. - GSX Level 2
- Simbrief (Integrated with FSLabs via ATSU)
So with these two addons I'm loading and refueling my aircraft automatically. Which settings should I use for these (supress auto payload, fuel, simulate load etc.)
My second question/issue is: I'm using external FCDU by manually running FCDU.exe, my dispatched flight is not shown on FCDU it's in the other commitments and I can't select it. I've checked my aircraft.cg it has atc_model set as A320 and have valid registration.
Thanks in advance

Hello Erdemes,
yes, suppressing auto payload and fuel would be best for the FSL A320. If you do not use "simulate load" FSCaptain will then do nothing during the loading process, you would then just start your flight after you are done with the preparations (or simply initiate pushback, FSCaptain will be aware of this). If you check "simulate load", FSCaptain will pretend to board the plane, but it won't actually change the settings for fuel and payload. I am not entirely sure what the best setting is if you use GSX. FSCaptain is aware of what happens in GSX, but I never tried GSX with and without simulated load. You could try both settings and pick the one that gives you the best results.
As for the problem with the FCDU, that may happen due to configuration problems. FSCaptain may expect you to fly a specific plane or livery, and does not recognize your plane properly. To resolve this we need more information. Can you send us (see blue link below) a zip file with your FSCaptain\Data\Log folder, your FSCaptain\Aircraft folder, and the aircraft.cfg file of your airplane model (located in Simobjects/Airplanes/<Aircraft Folder>)? Please send the email to all of us and copy the address of this thread into your message so that everyone on the FSCaptain team knows what the logs are for.
Cheers, Peter

Hi Peter, thank you for your quick reply. I will try the suppression settings as well as the simulate load settings. What about the INOP systems checkboxes? I’ve checked the FSLabs A320 Override and it has Barometric Altitude checked as default but when I tested in P3D it seems FSCaptain can’t get the exits and engine power up status.
For flight not being displayed in FCDU, I will send you the logs when I get home but as far as I can remember aircraft type was shown as A320 TC-JPN in FCDU login page and A320: in other commitments page. TC-JPN is the reg of the Turkish Airlines livery that I’m using. I’ve checked the aircraft.cgg and they all have valid atc_model and reg fields.
Thank you

Thanks Travis and Peter for their help, it turns out the problem was my User ID being too long which was 6 characters long. Problem solved but I'm still looking forward to know the best settings for FSLabs & GSX Level 2 & Simbrief Integration.
My new problem is whenever I plan my flight via "Specify Flight details" and put the PAX number and Cargo weights, for example I've just entered 147 into pax and 2400KG into the cargo weight, in FCDU it always shows my payload as 345KG even if it displays the pax number correct. Any solutions?
Thanks

Forgot one more thing! What is the FO Seat Belt control logic? I set my FO to control seat belts but in climb and descent he doesn't switch the seatbelts on/off?

Hello Erdemes,
I am glad you solved your first problem. About the other problems, that sounds like a configuration issue to me. Can you send us again (see blue link below) the zip file with your FSCaptain\Data\Log folder, your FSCaptain\Aircraft folder, and the aircraft.cfg file of your airplane model? Please send the email to all of us and copy the address of this thread into your message so that everyone on the FSCaptain team knows what the logs are for.
Cheers, Peter

Yes, I'd like to see FCDU and FSCaptain log files for such a flight where the FO doesn't handle the belts properly. -----
The FO should set the Belts Sign when Loading starts, and switch it off around (or soon after) the Service Altitude has been passed during Climbout.
During either Climbout or the Cruise segment of the flight, if strong turbulence is encountered the FO should turn the Belts Sign on... and turn it off again once calm air is reached.
The Belts Sign should be on soon after TOD has passed, until after a successful landing.
Regards,

Hello Erdemes,
I am very sorry about the delay. I recently got a new PC that enables me to fly MSFS (my old computer was below minimum specs) and I was so pre-occupied with this that I forgot to handle your case. I will do that this weekend.
Best, Peter
