Hello Gilbert,
welcome to the FSCaptain forum. This sounds more like a PMDG problem than an FSCaptain forum, but perhaps this problem only started after you installed FSCaptain? If so, did you install the FCDU gauge into the airplane? Did you run FSCaptain before, and does it work with other airplanes? To answer all these questions, we would need to see your FSCaptain logs. Can you send us (see blue link below) a zip file with your FSCaptain\Data\Log folder? Please send the email to all of us and copy the address of this thread into your message so that everyone on the FSCaptain team knows what the logs are for.
Cheers, Peter

Just to understand you correctly:
1) Without FSCaptain, all planes, including PMDG, are fine 2) When you install FSCaptain - and do nothing else, e.g., like running the FCDU or the Administrator - PMDG panels turn black. All other airplanes are working fine.
This scenario would be next to impossible since FSCaptain does not do anything with individual airplanes at this stage. I could only imagine that FSCaptain is installed in the wrong directory, such as a PMDG airplane directory.
In order to help you, we need to know precisely (!) what you are doing. I suggest the following procedure 1) start with FSCaptain uninstalled, verify that the PMDG plane works fine. 2) Install FSCaptain and do not do anything else. Open Notepad.exe and write down the directory that you selected in the FSCaptain installer. It should be the P3D main directory. 3) Start P3D and verify that the PMDG plane does not work 4) If it does work, open the external FCDU.exe of FSCaptain and see if that works. You may have to run P3D in windowed mode for this test. 5) If step 4 worked, close P3D, open the FSCaptain Administrator and install the FCDU gauge. Test if the PMDG plane does still work.
My guess would be that something goes wrong in step 5, but that can be easily fixed. However, we need to know for sure that the problem happens when you install the FCDU gauge. If not, send us the directory name. Also, let us know which version of FSCaptain you use.
Best, Peter

Hello Gilbert,
I've not seen any logs from you as of now, so I would like to ask if you did install the SC-64 version into your P3D4 simulator.
If you had installed the SC-32 or the FS9 version, that is very likely to have a bad impact on your simulator. These versions were not meant to run within a 64-bit environment.
Regards,
