Hello to you, FSCaptains!
The version 2.0 of my Damage Mod for Flight1's BN-2 Islander is about to be released. Among other things (bugs fixed, P3Dv4 compatibility of the WHOLE Islander), I have added an interface to FSCaptain.
This allows FSCaptain-induced failures to be passed on to the Damage Mod gauge. So now you can repair what FSCaptain so neatly breaks down . This feature is possible only thanks to the FSC team dedication to their customers' feedback and suggestions. It was included in one of the 1.8.1 betas, and may still change a little bit in its user interface.
This thread will give any information which is needed to make use of the DM with FSC, without having to change the pdf instructions file from the package.
So see you soon for the v2.0 release!
Fly safe,
Rémi "Kekelekou"

Hi Rémi, I've seen your announcement on Avsim today, it really sounds great. I tend to fly the BN-2 in Scotland (EGET, EGEO), hopefully the weather will be good there on they day you release v2.0 Cheers, Peter

Hi Rémi, Thank you for your kind words, and thank you for helping FSCaptain be better itself. Until our cooperation, FSCaptain could only register a single fault on a flight, but now it can handle many more! (We don't do so now, but one day we will.) We're certain everyone agrees that having more than seven faults on a flight should call for an immediate landing. I'll be hitting the skies and shores of the FSX Shetlands in a few days.... Best regards,
