Merry Christmas to FSCaptain users, creators and everybody!!!
1.8.0 FSCaptain version on P3DV4
Is there any complete list of failures, either Pilot induced or mechanical failures?
I am having Type 5 Fault 701 on my PMDG B738. I know it is a engine 1 problem because at about 11000 feet I had a flameout. I managed to get it running again but what was the problem with engine n. 1?
I have requested an engine report to dispatch and they answer to be on alert: engine data trend indic possible degrad Eng#1.
Should I continue the flight?
At user guide I found some answers:
There are six types (or causes) of system failures:
0 – External (either another add-on, or the aircraft itself)
1 – Mechanical – the percentage is set from the Options for All Airlines tab in the Administrator
2 – Bird strike – the percentage is set from the Options for All Airlines tab in the Administrator
3 – Weather – ice or another type of Chilled Precipitation (snow, rain, even clouds if enabled!)
4 – Blown Tire – the percentage is set from the Options for All Airlines tab in the Administrator
5 – Chilled Precipitation Intake / Other WX Causes
Here are the codes for the sixty-plus systems which can fail. Note that all codes below 200 are
considered not to be part of the ACME Systems’ Minimum Equipment List and do not warrant an
emergency declaration or a cancellation of the flight if detected before airborne.

In the above, “X” represents the engine affected by the failure, 1 through 4.
But should I continue the flight or divert to an alternative airport?
I opted to continue the flight and had no problem at all.
What are the proper SOP`s and non-normal procedures in FSCaptain. Not asking for real airline company`s as all of them has there own SOP`s and non-normal procedures.
Like to read your opinions.
Thanks.
