Hello. I've been using FSCaptain for a while and have never had any problems with it. Every flight went off without a hitch, until now.
A few months ago, I uninstalled/reinstaled my FS9. I uninstalled/reinstalled all related programs as well, including FSCaptain. Everything was back up and running and I took off in the Mooney to go around the world. Trip went well. I got back and went to do passenger flights again. Of course, I reached for FSCaptain for these flights. That's when I noticed the problem.
I set up my flights in the administrator and then start FS9 and do my regular preflight. When I start the ACARS device it logs in fine, showing the correct flight number and everything. However, there is no FO voice when the FO enters the cockpit. No "good afternoon" or anything. The sounds for the door opening and the machinery noises are OK but no FO. Proceeding to load the aircraft, I get no sound from the Flight Attendant. Again, the door sounds and machinery noises work, the Flight Attendant opens the main door and the ACARS proceeds to the load page. Fuel is loaded just fine but no PAX or payload are loaded at all. It just hangs. I can go to the interrupt option and reconcile, using the manifest, and the flight will proceed. After reconciling the load, I can hear the FO voice finally saying "good afternoon." I start the pushback and the pushback looks normal. However, the voices of the FO and the ground crew seem to be lagging. It takes some time before they make their comments. This is far as I've gone with any flight.
I did another uninstall/reinstall of FSCaptain. I wondered if I had unzipped the 1.6 fixpack before installing it so I reinstalled, making sure to unzip to a temp folder before installing the program. There was no change. I tested two flights, using the default 737 on each flight. I did one flight where I stopped when I realized it was no different and one flight where I reconciled the load using the interrupt command. So now I have logs for each of these types of situations.
When I first noticed the problem it was doing it for every aircraft tested. I tried the PAD Beech 1900, the default Cessna Caravan, and the default 737.
My simulator is FS9. My operating system is Windows XP. My FSUIPC is 3.9.9.9, and is not registered. My FSCaptain is an original version of 1.04.05 updated using the 1.6 fixpack.
Please, please help me fix this. I can't go back to flying passenger flights without FSCaptain. I won't. I won't, I tell you. Please help.
