Hello,
Leaning back towards a return to this program, I truly enjoy what I see here in terms of the developers attention to detail and growth of the program.
My question is this?
I have read through the manual, and I see that it is possible to play music - but what I would like to see is the ability for the program to play music by selecting RANDOM tracks from a set list of music. That way, you never quite know what song will play, but you know that it will be a song that you have selected to include in a list.
Is this possible? I may be reading it improperly, but it doesn't appear that it works that way right now.
Thanks,
John

I would think that it should choose randomly if you give it several possible choices... such as these:
ANY=MIDSUMMER_SKY.MP3,0 ANY=SUNSHINE.MP3,0 ANY=SOMEWHERE_SUNNY.MP3,0 ANY=CONTINUE_LIFE.MP3,0
But I'll make a note to check this. And I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask Dutch what the max size of a playlist would be....

Specific music events (BOARD, TAXI, UNBOARD) do seem to take priority - at least in my minimal testing today....

I'm not a code expert, that's why this question:
What is the meaning of the last 0 in this line? CONTINUE_LIFE.MP3,0

I'm not a code expert, that's why this question: What is the meaning of the last 0 in this line? CONTINUE_LIFE.MP3,0 My smart-alec response would be "It's something that Dutch added so people would ask about it!" I didn't know what it was until I just now looked up a sound.cfg file that predates version 1.4.5. If it's not changed, then it's a volume setting for that particular mp3. Funny thing is, ",0" should make it inaudible. So it's time to experiment, my Captains.....

Back again, but still unsure about the random factor I had originally asked about.
Any assistance is appreciated. Great program

Random music? Yes.
In your \Config\sound.cfg file (or in your \Airlines\[airline_name]_sound.cfg file) set SEQUENCE=0 and you should have some degree of randomization.
