And with mine, FSC can't detect the parking brake. Doors are open. Parking brake set.
I think Randazzo just hates you guys. PMDG and FSC simply do not get along. I've been fiddling with it for three hours now.

Got tired of trying the real numbers, so just put in simple stuff here to illustrate. Doesn't matter how I do it, I get this when I click Apply. Have practically memorized section 5 of the user guide.

The number 481 appears nowhere in the override file. overrides/pmdg 747-400 is correctly called out in FCDU. The actual file does not have the same number. I've done all this before in FSC. But since trying to do anything with PMDG 744 V3, it's all just basically broken. The only thing that works is straight up manual revision. Which is fine. But why is my FSC totally broken when it comes to overrides?

It appears like the PMDG plane has a load station for each passenger. It could be that P3D/FSX or FSCaptain have a limit on the number of load stations. I will alert Travis about your issues.

Okay, so first thing... re-hi MJL! We only have interfaces for Versions 1 and 2, so it's likely that they're using an LVAR for their Parking Brake status. For now, you would have to set your Parking Brakes as INOP in your Overrides file. If you're able to use LINDA to gather data for an FSCaptain interface, I'll be happy to work on one for V3 Captains. ------- As for your other issues, I can see two problems from the Administrator screenshot. One, you have all of your 10 faux stations set as "0" Priority. Two, the "Total A/C Stations" is set to 1. That value is usually derived from an import of an aircraft.cfg file. The error you're seeing can be influenced by both of the things I mentioned, as well as other things, so I really can't tell from this screen what may be going on. As to the "481" PAX count, a Load Map can overrule the count of an Overrides file. Again, I can't tell from your screenshot what's happening. So please ZIP an Overrides and a Load Map file from one of your V3 aircraft, and also please add an FCDU log from a A/C startup that shows the "481" value and we'll get you sorted! Also, please include your most recent ADMIN log. I can learn other things from that file. Best,

OK, I figured this one out. There are two load maps - the one in play is in the PAX folder under MAPS. The one in the main MAPS folder has a name of PMDG747-400.cfg. The one in the PAX folder is named PMDG 747-400 (space between PMDG AND 747) Since that is the name of the actual folder in simobjects\airplanes, that's the one that is being used by FDCU and that is the one that has 481.
So, I'll just delete the one in main folder and tweak the one in PAX folder.
As for LVARS -- IF I take a swing at the xml code, where does it go? I see a folder called gauges\FCOM. Do I create a NEW xml or write to an EXISTING one? In either case, what's it called?

Ah! I found the magic readme. So you create an xml. call it Bob if you want, then reference it in the panel:
gaugeXX=FCOMPNL![Bob],1,1,1,1

MJ,
Your Dispatch Release will always tell you the filename of the Aircraft Configuration and Aircraft Load Map that will be used.
Once you migrate to 184 Alpha, things will work much smoother.

MJ,
You appear to be on the correct path, but unless you're really wanting a RPN challenge, please don't bother with XML code!
Just give me the LVAR "Keys" and each Key's "Values" and I can make it work for every PMDG 747 V3 Captain.
Best,

Just give me the LVAR "Keys" and each Key's "Values" and I can make it work for every PMDG 747 V3 Captain. Best, As for the original problem, parking brake LVAR works fine. The only LVARs I found that FSC doesn't see are cabin temp and brake temp. But I don't think you even track those...? They are "inop" but aren't listed in the big inop box in the UI. (So I don't think they're pertinent at this point.) Randazzo actually did a pretty good job. Looks like all his stuff is 74[something] ============================= And now, FSC is detecting parking brake just fine during pushback procedure. All I did was deselect a bunch of inops in the override, but I don't know if parking brake was one of them. So, basically, your current PMDG 744 setup seems to work fine. And I discovered Linda! I'm wondering if it might be an easier way for me to interface my Arduino than the SDK. Surprised I never heard of it before.

MJ,
It's good to know that you have some systems working.
Please let me know of any PMDG 747 V3 Keys and Values for any systems which you find, so we can make an interface for other Captains.
In order to do that, we would need the SimObject folder names for each "find".
Best,
