On my last flight I had a medical situation in the cabin. But didn't heard the FA told me and continue my flight without taking care of anythings just because I didn't know. With headset for ATC and FS2CREW, the engine noise and the fact that sometime i walk away from the computer (specially for flight during more than 10 hours ), I figure that missing this crucial annoucement is very easy and bad ! An idea is to pop up an FS-like window telling us what's happening and maybe some possibilities... What do you thinks ? And thanks for this awsome program it had sooooo much to the realism !

Quentin, First, thank you for your kind words, and next thank you for your EXCELLENT SUGGESTION!! This will be implemented for 1.7.2 RC4, which is currently underway and set for internal testing tomorrow.... As the Cabin (smoke) and Medical (PAX) emergencies consist of an initial notification, followed by either a "take action" or "all clear", you will receive messages from Dispatch advising you of their perception of the current status. Plus, your FCDU will display any such statuses in the Environmental area as long as you have not declared an Emergency. Regards,

Hello Travis,
regarding the question on top, i got another one.
On my last Flight, i got a Cabin Emergency. Followed by "land immediately". I declared an Emergency and landed on the next suitable airfield.
My rating said: - 25 DidnĀ“t Respond to a Cabin Emergency + 25 Declared Emergency.
Now i am a litte bit confused. Did i make a mistake?

Hi Christian, It sounds as if you did what was proper - you declared an Emergency and landed safely ASAP. So if you didn't make a mistake it must be that someone in your airline's Flight Ops office has made a mistake. (I wonder whom that would be??? ) If you would please ZIP and email us your airline's log, we'll have a look inside. If you could also find the FCDU log for that flight, it might have a lot of details for us to consider. Regards,

Hi Christian,
From looking at your company log, I think that this issue has already been taken care of.
The rating that you quoted - was it from the FCDU or from the Administator. I would hope it would be from the FCDU, but regardless... it appears that on the flight in question you did what you were supposed to!
