My brother an I bought FS Captain and we created an airline and fly for that airline but it would be nice if we could literally in real time fly multiplayer similar to how it is done on a VA website. When I get a schedule and I choose a flight he should be able to see that flight that I am doing and not be able to get that the same flight. I noticed that rexsimulations have created a program similar to that idea; so what do you guys think? Anyway to allow or enable multiplayer functionality?

Rhoanw,
Thank you for your custom!
Currently, FSCaptain is not suited for multiple Captains for each airline... we're more of a "single Captain" add-on.
Although I will add that I've thought to add the ability for more than one Captain to fly for the same airline. That would be nearly a year in development though - no one has requested such... although we like to think we're flexible enough to allow nearly any change that's requested.
To allow such would require the airline's log file to be "shared" among all possible Captains. If your brother and you share the same LAN, that would be easy enough to manage... but if you both are on separate networks, then we would have to figure out a good "sharing" methodology to implement.
Let's keep this idea open - if we (and others) can come up with a good methodology, then we would be happy to put such on the idea board for implementation.
Regards,

Hey Travis, currently we share the airline config files but I never thought about the log file. We are not on the same LAN but theoretically could we use a vpn like Hamachi to sync both fscaptain files?
