Friends,
I'm flying with ACME and would like to edit the salary levels for the more senior promotions to be above 200K but the administrator throws errors...is there a way to disable the input validation for all the levels to change them as I see fit?
Thank you all

The ACME Captains' Union has a forty-five year contract with the airline that binds all work, salary and benefit levels to amazingly detailed and heretofore maximizably comfortable levels. (1. You haven't had to grease your own aircraft wheels' bearings lately, have you? Thought not. 2. I invented a word - maximizably.) Seriously, I'll take a look at the restrictions here. Now that the global economy's growing so quickly [ audio glyph of crickets a'chipring ] it should be time to raise the tide levels for all classes of the aviation proletariat.

This range currently is 1 to 400 (although the error message indicates it's 1 to 200) but ACME contract negotiations have reached an understanding that the maximum Captain's salary will shortly be raised to 1000 "pay units" per level.
Just be aware that every "pay unit" that goes into your pocket can come out of your airline's profit. One concession that the ACME Amalgamated Workers and Mechanics Federation of Unions (slogan: "Attorneys paid for each character written.") has had to make to raise these caps is that Captains who opt-in for the Economic mode will find their airline will now reward and chastise Captains based on their flight's profitability (or lack thereof)....

Thank you for looking into this for me Travis!
Very fun, and funny those contract negotiations!!!!!! Will these new allowances be in v.1.7.2...or will this be slated for 1.7.3/1.8.0/etc?
Thank you!

Starting with 1.7.2 RC2, all crew can enjoy increased salaries (Captains up to 1000 units per hour), although the economic impact to the airline might not make it (for RC2). FYI, here's my new pay structure... ( just deal with the Castle / Rook / Pawn jokes) having used the default pay structure ever since... forever. Regards,

Hi Travis,
Silly me to depend on the email notifying me that a new post was put on this topic, cuz it never came!
Anywho, thank you for incorporating this into 1.7.2 RC2!
Much appreciated good friend!
