Team,
In a future update, is it possible to add an option to override the "Require an FS Parking Location for Unload" option. Here's my issues, I like the feature a lot; thus, I have it enabled. However, on a few of my flights, I get assigned a parking spot that's occupied by an AI aircraft, which prohibits me from parking. As a result, I can't end my flight via FSCapt. To that end, I'd like an override option to allow me to keep the feature enabled but override it in case of an anomaly. Perhaps it could be added to the "Request" menu? Just a thought...

On the Flight Menu of the FCDU after you land there's a <PARKING option that will give you several options to handle anomalies like your parking spot being occupied.
For instance there's a ZAP option to clear an AI out of your spot. However, this isn't working on the external FCDU, for reasons we are correcting in 1.6.3.

Ahhh, that explains a lot, Dutch. I primarily use the external FCDU; so, I'll wait till 1.6.3 is released.

I've turned it off way back in v1.5, it always gave me a parking spot that was already occupied (AI traffic set at 30pct in FS9). It's why I still have the punctuality award... ;-)

We won't know if an AI will be in your assigned parking when you arrive, but we do check after touchdown and if one's there you can (randomly) have FSUIPC zap it, and if it randomly doesn't you should get a gate reassignment.
And you can always switch off all assignments in the FCDU and park in any open location.
