I've been using FSC for some time and I love it. I usually end up in Bogotá SKBO as my base airport, and since I have the flight length to 65 minutes, I usually fly to the same places when using the GET ASSIGNMENT. I fly a Turbine Duke, so I'm not making pax routes, but charters all the time. It would be nice to add an option to have a flight lenght between two different times. Hard to explain.... In other words: Instead of only being presented with flights that are at 65 minutes far from my present position, to be able to be presented with flights that are between 65 and 85 minutes (to say a number). This way we get more options of random flights from the usual base airport. This change can be optional... so people who like it the way it is can continue with no changes, and for people who have base airports and want to use the GET ASSIGNMENT with more options, can select something like 65-85... meaning: Will receive flights anywhere between 65 minutes and 85 minutes lenght. Too hard to explain. If it is not clear... I can make it more detailed.

Hi Nick,
Sorry for resurrecting an old thread (I've been busy with real world non-fun things lately - aka "work") but I've wondered about this myself in the past.
I'll ping Dutch when he's back from his walkabout to see what's possible. (My idea would have a Captain to enter a "lower / higher" value in the Time Constraint box, and let the "flight generator" use both values to generate a flight list.
Although from what I know of the "flight generator," this might be something that's only possible for a "future version." (That is, version 1.6 or so.)

Are you looking at this for 1.5.1 ?

Nick,
FSCaptain 1.5.1 will be bug-fixes from 1.5.0 along with the "Economy mode". Otherwise, this would be something for the "next version" of FSCaptain.
