Captains,
Sorry to have been unavailable on the forums for the last two weeks. I've been down with the kind of wintertime illness that has kept me from being able to concentrate due to lying in bed feeling like warmed over death. I'm getting back on my feet and will be getting the fix release 1.5.1 out ASAP. I will be answering questions here on the forums again too.
Travis has been having his own issues (and we live on opposite sides of the continent so it's not my fault) but he will hopefully be back soon too.
Thanks for your patience, Dutch

Captains....
Dutch presumed that he was in recovery, but during a massive medical diagnosis procedure (using all sorts of Starfleet Medical "woo-woo" devices) he was declared as unfit to code and thus stripped him of his access to a keyboard until he is fully recovered from his bout of Rigelan Sinus Infection.
Until that occurs (maybe later in the final week of this month) please know that several fixes are in work for an end-of-January "fixpack" for FSCaptain. Other items such as the "door must be closed" issue have been noted and will be addressed very soon - if not in the current fixpack.
With regards from the not-that-well himself

Hi Nick,
I'm much better, thanks for the concern. I've got a shedload of things that need my attention (family & work, then fun & frolic) so I hope to resume normal simming within a few days.
Dutch is better too, but still not fully up to speed. He's started some coding, but has a lot of other non-FSCaptain concerns that he's dividing his time with too. I expect to see him back before the end of next week.
Regards,

Well, a bit later than I'd hoped or planned, but I am back in the coding chair and getting back up to speed.
Thanks for your concern everyone. I'm pretty much back to normal...now to figure out the FSC to-do list...

Great to hear you are good again. I hope we will hear something about the coming economic addon in near future.

First priority is a fix release, then we add to the product. Yes, economics is in the mix in a big way.

Well, it's been a couple of weeks without either Dutch or Travis around and it's somewhat worrying that support questions can't be addressed. I sincerely hope both of them are well and able to return soon. Right now, FSCaptain seems a bit rudderless.
