Hi, I have been struggling for few days in trying to fix the issue I'm facing with a homemade config for the PMDG T7. The issue is that I can only load passengers and no extra cargo. Despite the fact I have configured cargo stations in the load map, the flight dispatch keeps returning the message: "Max extra cargo capacity on this 777-200LR for this flight is -47970LB" when I try to add some cargo with 234 pax. I f I try with 0 pax it returns the same except for 0LB. It seems obvious that something is wrong with the cargo stations but what? I can't find the mistake. I have attached the aircraft config file and the load map file. Could you help me please and check the files for mistakes? Thanks in advance Romain Attachments:B77L.cfg (1.2 KB)

I have the same problem. I use the adminitrator, and FS9. I even can't specify 0 pax. It happens with the iFly737 and the maddog (Leonardo SH). I haven't tested other aircrafts. In addition the system of priorities doesn't seem to work with the detailed load process

Hi,
Is there anybody who gets the pax version of the PMDG 777 loading possibly with pax + cargo? If yes, could you post your config file and load map so that I can compare with mine and check what is wrong? Thanks. Romain

I too am suffering from this issue with the QualityWings 757. Unless I enter 0 PAX and 0 Cargo the Dispatch indicates max extra cargo -41000 lbs ... Anyone make any progress as to the problem?

Ooof - two aircraft that we don't own, and can't test with.... The first question I'd ask would be are you using a load map or a custom configuration? Then, what version of FSCaptain are you running - and what simulator? There's two or three factors in play here - the aircraft's aircraft.cfg file (which likely can't be posted in public) and the FSCaptain aircraft configuration & load map file that you're running. I could ask you to email us the latter, but without having the aircraft itself that might be meaningless. But... if you're not running an FSCaptain load map now, could you use the Admin to import one and email that to us along with the FSCaptain configuration file for the aircraft and some FCDU/FCOM log files? Please understand though that we're on reduced duty for the next 3-4 days, so it might be early next week before we can fully study this....

I was having this same problem with the Leonardo MD80 and what solved it for me was increasing the units for the cargo area to grater than 1. Don't forget Size x Units = Limit, I did not try anything other than whole numbers but fractions might work.
Another thing I found was that on the initial save of the load map the payload station type was left black with a space where the representative letter should have been. I had to go into notepad and put them in manually for them to show up in the administrator.
@ phil66
Below is a copy of my load map for the Leonardo MD80. The numbers I used are From the load manager that came with the aircraft.
PAX Weight = 185 lbs. PAX Baggage = 29 lbs. Max PAX = 166 (83 in PAX area A and 83 in PAX area B) MAX Weight for PAX area A = 15355 lbs. (Size x Units = Limit) MAX Weight for PAX area B = 15355 lbs. (Size x Units = Limit) Max Cargo Weight for Forward Cargo Hold = 10304 lbs. Max Cargo Weight for AFT Cargo Hold = 4890 lbs.
Type=MD88 Name=Leonardo MD-80 Maddog EmptyPayload=0 Config=Passenger PAXSeats=166 Jumpseats=0 Attendants=3 NoGPWS=1 NoFO=1 NoFA=0 NoLoad=1 NoLoadFuel=1 SimLoad=1 NoSlickRwy=0 Tank=Center1,2 Tank=LeftMain,1 Tank=RightMain,1 Station=1,1,15355,PAX Area A Load=1,Y,83,185,PAX A Station=2,1,15355,PAX Area B Load=2,Y,83,185,PAX B Station=3,1,10304,FWD Cargo Load=3,G,28,368,FWD CAR Station=4,1,4890,AFT Cargo Load=4,G,15,326,AFT CARG
If you use my file you will have to amend the aircraft type to fit your needs (Marked in red on the image). I changed it from the original MD80 to MD88. You will also have to amend the overrides to your preferences.
MADDOG2008.cfg (481 B)
Hope this helps

T2 is on the ball here! The numbers need to add up (or be a wee bit smaller if needed... just never larger!)
SpeedbirdCA - if you would post your config & load maps, someone would be happy to look them over.
I'll be going quiet (HA!) very soon and will check by the forum in my evening.
Happy Thanksgiving to all Captains, no matter where you're based!

I will try to post those files asap.. In the meantime, I've noticed as long as i do not specify cargo weight in the dispatch window, the flightplan will work and upon viewing the release, correct passenger weight and a random cargo manifest is generated. It's only if I enter a cargo weight does this message appear. It will also appear if I select "0" for cargo weight. I'll stay in touch, thanks. Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends. Have a great day from Canada!

Hello Captains, I have same problem (PMDG 777-200 LR): ...but entries of LIMIT values - as teetwo wrote - didn't help for me Before that, my PMDG 777-200LR.CFG file in \Maps folder looked like this: Type=B77L Name=PMDG 777-200LR EmptyPayload=0 Config=Convertible PAXSeats=234 Jumpseats=4 Attendants=12 NoGPWS=1 NoFO=0 NoFA=0 NoLoad=1 NoLoadFuel=1 SimLoad=1 NoSlickRwy=0 Tank=Center1,2 Tank=Center2,2 Tank=LeftMain,1 Tank=RightMain,1 Station=1,1,0,First Class Load=1,F,14,176,Seat Station=2,1,0,Business Class Load=2,J,48,176,Seat Station=3,1,0,Economy Class Load=3,Y,172,176,Seat Station=4,1,0,For Cargo Load=4,G,18,2192,LD3-45 Station=5,1,0,Aft Cargo Load=5,G,14,1953,LD3-45 Station=6,1,0,Bulk Cargo Load=6,G,20,248,Bag
After add LIMIT values: Type=B77L Name=PMDG 777-200LR EmptyPayload=0 Config=Convertible PAXSeats=234 Jumpseats=4 Attendants=12 NoGPWS=1 NoFO=0 NoFA=0 NoLoad=1 NoLoadFuel=1 SimLoad=1 NoSlickRwy=0 Tank=Center1,2 Tank=Center2,2 Tank=LeftMain,1 Tank=RightMain,1 Station=1,1,2400,First Class Load=1,F,14,176,Seat Station=2,1,8400,Business Class Load=2,J,48,176,Seat Station=3,1,30200,Economy Class Load=3,Y,172,176,Seat Station=4,1,39450,For Cargo Load=4,G,18,2192,LD3-45 Station=5,1,27300,Aft Cargo Load=5,G,14,1953,LD3-45 Station=6,1,4900,Bulk Cargo Load=6,G,20,248,Bag
What can I do? Lucas

Hello..
I just wanted to configure the A320CFM from aerosoft and always I get negative values when I try to set a cargo payload so I have to left it blank to let me continue. I tried to modify the load maps in aircraft caracteristics and in the load maps tab.. Put limit to cero.. or even a high number but always same result. In the aircraft load map not recomended to use.. even I change something, apply but when showing again the load map the changes are not there..... don't know...
it is very confusing.. there isn't anyway to introduce the ZFW, MTW, MLW, etc numbers in any area of FSCaptain and that is? I use with VAFinancials.. and has to be the exact weight cargo.. if not I presume I will have the extra ice problem....
But the problem is not with a particular plane.. is with all! even the default ones (all but the DC3) in the aircraft type list..........
So I just created the plane to be listed in the Fight dispatch:
1. I put the gauge in the plane 2. copied the id_model (A320CFM) and put it in the name and Type when creating a new plane. Put the Name the same as the Livery in case I had a problem. The ATC_ID was filled with EC-LAA 3. it didn't show after loading the plane in FSX or loading again FSCaptain, so I copied the file cfg from Overrides to Aircraft folder.... Now I could see it in the list. 4. Went to Load Maps.. and loaded the one you have in the library with all the limits numbers already set. BUT changed the type name to A320CFM, and the name to same as point 2. in livery name. Changed the passenger seats to 150 to match the aircraft one and the cabin crew and jumpseats... Saved... 5. exit fscaptain... 6. go to flight dispatch and still same damm negative number!!!!!!!!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!

Ok.. I know how to solve!!! the Airbus laod map that is in the library is BAD!!!! it is not well filled.. still there are numbers to fill!!! the units and size ones!!! that are cero and must be numbers... So I fixed this way.
1. I Open aerosoft airbus x fuel planer and put 1 mile to put the fuel to almost cero 2. Put cero pax.. and max cargo to know what is the max cargo capacity of the plane = 37479 pounds That is the number divided by to to put in Stn2 and 3. 3. put cero cargo and max passengers. Press load payload and go to FSX cargo screen to see how they are distributed: Firstclass: 2963lb Coach=24815lb
So I fill the numbers:
Stn Pri Limit Description Type Units Size Name 0 1 2963 First Class Y 17 170 Seat (17 units = 2963/170) 1 1 24815 Coach Y 133 170 Seat 2 1 18739 Forward Cargo G 1 18739 Pallet 3 1 18739 Aft Cargo G 1 18739 Pallet
That way it works!!!!! at last after 4 hours finding out what happened!!! It would be nice to modify all the load maps this way.. They need the Unit and size numbers corretly... if they are cero... then the negative value will come.

Those were my AAXE load maps... and I can now see that they are OLD and do not account for the Detailed Loading! If you can PM / email me the ones you've done, I will update the others... and perhaps add some 318/319 load maps too.

Hello Captains, I have same problem (PMDG 777-200 LR): {snip] What can I do? Hi Lucas, I don't have the PMDG 777, but only the CS 777 which I'm making an interface for. I will look at your load maps and pass my observations to Dutch - this appears to be a specific issue that occurs when a specific weight is entered in the "Flight Details" dialog.
