Harry, That's our job - to keep at something until it (or we) break. Most payware and freeware developers work fine with FSCaptain. The catch is, either the standalone FCDU.EXE has to run, or two gauges: the FCDU/FCOM and the FDR - Flight Data Recorder. The FCDU/FCOM gauge can afford to run slowly - it's just a UI. But the FDR must run at full speed, which in the case of FSX is 18 times per second. If you want to experiment more with this aircraft, try moving the FDR gauge to WINDOW00... I think it would be Gauge35 there. IIRC, WINDOW00 runs at a faster pace than other panel windows... or it's "guaranteed to run" I forget the details.

Great! Thanks again. I´ll keep that in mind in case the same thing happens in some other aircraft (I should know how to fix it now!). Anyway, I will also try moving the FDR gauge and see if works at full speed at every stage of the flight. Cheers.

Try using the virtual cockpit. I had the same problem and that solved it.
