The website www.fscaptain.net now contains FSCaptain beta version 07.11, and a cumulative Fixpack to upgrade any field version to 07.11. See the README.txt in each for more details. The Hotfix pack is currently a placeholder but it will contain hotfixes to 7.11 as they are released.
Okay, so, I planned to take a short break before working on 7.11 but that didn't happen. There's too much good stuff in here to keep it under wraps!
Major enhancements:
No more leaving FS to get to the Administrator: you can now just click on the FSCaptain menu item.
A new item on the Dispatch Online page you see when you login. It's called F4=Destination. From there you can select a direct destination airport and FSCaptain will do the rest, generating a flight for you. If you go to revise the flight you'll see a new option to switch types: passenger to cargo and vice versa.
No more "dialing in" the airport codes for destinations, etc. A new button on the FCOM allows you to enter "keyboard capture" where your keyboard controls the FCOM directly.
No more endless lopping of a short music segment. Music files can now be MP3 format, and a new configuration file (Sound.cfg) will let you control not only which MP3 files but how they are played (sequential or random shuffle) and at what volume.
New communications from the crew to you. Some new background sounds. And lots of work done behind the scenes so that the next release (7.12) can contain more and better flight ambiance enhancement!
A list of bugs is also fixed, check the README.txt in the Cumulative Fixpack for more detailed information.
