By the way, maybe you should change the example in the README_Interfaces.txt Reinstalled the NGX and did not pay much attention. Added the interface as gauge03 in the panel.cfg as in the example and did not see FDR was already gauge03 (below the comment). Got me all kind of weird behaviour until I figured out what was wrong gauge00=PMDG_737NGX!VCAnnunciations_0, 0, 0, 1024, 641, VC gauge01=PMDG_737NGX!VCAnnunciations_1, 0, 640, 927, 244, VC SIDE gauge02=PMDG_737NGX!VCAnnunciations_2, 0, 884, 726, 89, VC SIDE
////////////////////////////////////////////////////// // VC SECTION 2 // MCP Knob Lighting ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////
gauge03=FCOM!FDR,1,1,1,1 // Auto-installed by FSCaptain Or maybe it just should not install below the comment at all.

New captain "aboard". Tried out the demo with my ngx last night. 1. Do I have to do something to make fscap play nice with NGX? (rtfm answer is of okey 2. If yes; what should work and what wont work as of now - signs, payload, fuel? Im running SP1c.

I think it's about time for a detailed write-up on how to configure and fly with the NGX. I'll see what I can do in the next few days.

Does FScaptain work with A2A Boeing 377?
Thank you

Good question.
The main reason FS Captain would not work well with any given aircraft would be if they decline to use or set the FSX signals for systems like the belt and smoking signs, external lights, etc. as well as not using (L:) variables (local XML) to expose them.
I do know that A2A expose values used by AccuFeel via (L:).
If we (you, me... whoever is reading this) do not know anyone who has a copy who could answer those questions, I could drop them an email and see what they say.

Hi guys,
It'd be nice if you could add in support for teh Justflight BAE 146. Its switches don't use the FSX engine but some custom code, hence when I switch on the seatbelt, landing lights, etc, FSCaptain still thinks that they're off. It's one of my favorite add-ons (since they updated it), and ti'd be awesome to use it with FSCaptain.
Cheers Dan

We are working on that one, I believe it's on Travis's list. He can comment further and will soon.

Sorry, I've got the QW 146, but not the JustFlight version.
Dan if you're familiar with the LINDA utility for FSX, then perhaps we can work together on creating an initial interface for your aircraft.

I've just posted a PDF in the File Sharing Area on the steps needed to collect the data necessary for an XML interface. So if any Captain has an aircraft which none of us here at ACME have, this document can walk you through the (sometimes tedious) process to assemble the data that we would need to make an interface.
