Well Dutch, It happened ;D Was flying your DC3C from Memphis to Louisville. was about to Land on Rwy 35 L and Looked over and Hyd Pressure was Zero No gear or flap pressure? Looked in my key selection to pump the gear down by hand? Saw something about a key combo Crt-G try that but no Luck. I had the random Failures set at Default. but there it was zero Pressure. So I alert the dispatcher and flight deck to prepare for emg Landing. and they go ever body in crash Position. So I jumped up to realism settings for FS9 and set to not detect crash. So I put her in on her belly and it just keep bouncing back in the air. I think if I had not when back to detect crash I would have keep bouncing into the Ohio river after I changed realism back to 100% it showed crash and reset the DC3C and I had hyd pressure. and all was normal. but the flight 1529 was closed and I got a decent score. Well back to re read your DC3C manual to see if there was something I over Looked that could have got the gear down. " Oh One other thing" I was hauling a Casket? I don't know if there was a body in it or not ;D Lane ;D

Hello, Do we have any other FSC pilots flying the DC3C? Guess you are all Jet Jocks. ;D When over the DC3C manual tonight Look for something I could have try to Lower the Landing gear. Guess I could have looked at Landing gear control Lever view and try using mouse to Lower? or got some alt and try a sharp Nose up to try to get it to drop and Lock. May never see that failure again ? Hope not. One thing I liked about the FSCaptain program was after I declared emg the the crew got everone ready for a emg landing. then the flight closed. and I got a good score. It seemed to sense that I had a real emg. Guess I could have just reset the flight after that. Have a good one were ever you are. Lane

Yeah, FS9 doesn't handle belly landings well.
FSX does a superb job of handling a belly landing in the DC3, or any airplane. It's really interesting to try it.
About the Casket -- bodies are shipped by air to distant funeral sites all the time. Not something people are generally aware of.

It's touches like that which give FSCaptain its class.
