Hi Dutch I have the following questions:
1. The aircraft config files on the three Connies (L1049, L1049G & L1649) all correctly claim it to be a pressurised aircraft, but when I look at FCOM: Characteristics they are said to be Not Pressurised, and when flying them I get penalised for climb rate being too steep. I have of course installed all the latest updates.
2. Setting up a scheduled flight from YMML to YPPH in a Connie (Saturdays only, departure is at 1030), my entry in the airline_schedule.cfg file reads: 'Flight=6322,YMML,YPPH,3,1030,7' And the flight didn't appear.
2a: This is a 5.5 hour flight; how sensitive are the time constraints? If I set the time constraint to 13 hours, will it find a 5 hour flight?
2b. Could you confirm that days of the week start with Sunday, i.e. Sunday is day number 1, and Saturday is day number 7?
2c. What is the function of the line 'Table=XXXXX' found in the three default schedules? Does the airline_schedule.cfg really need this line, and if so, how is it configured?
2d. Is the airline_schedule.cfg case sensitive?
Maybe the Administrator could have a function where one can easily create schedules for a chosen airline, just by putting the relevant info into blank fields?
cheers Thomas

Thomas, here are your answers.
I'm certain the overrides aren't being processed, probably because the aircraft type of your Connie isn't L1049, L1049G, or L1649. (For example, the L1649 is distributed "out of the box" with an aircraft type of STARLINER.) To check this, look at the top line of the FCOM just after you login -- the line that says for example "B722 N722AP @ KSEA". The first item there is the type (B722 in this example). There will be a configuration type with that type and a .cfg extension in the aircraft folder -- because FSCaptain will create it if it's not there. That's the overrides for this airplane. But if FSCaptain creates it, it will need tweaking -- for example all jets are assumed pressurized and all props not. That's where your unpressurized Connie is coming from.
I need to make this clearer. I think I'll issue a warning page when FSCaptain creates a default override file, so that it is obvious what is happening and that further review is likely necessary.
I suspect that the override problem is getting you here too. Probably, the volume size generated in the default override file (whatever it is called) isn't volume class 3 which is why you aren't seeing this. That's just a guess, everything else seems okay.
As of the current fixpack, time constraints not longer apply to scheduled flights. Or shouldn't anyway.
This is indeed the day number but it currently isn't implemented -- each flight is for every day until I get this working, regardless of what you code here. The numbering you mentioned is correct - 0 is all days, 1 Sunday on up to 7 Saturday.
It's just documentation at this point. I intend to provide a maintenance function for schedules on the Administrator and it may be used there -- but it is optional.
It shouldn't be. But that's a good thing for me to double-check.
Planned for a release coming soon!
Regards, Dutch

Thanks Dutch, I'll check on all these items and let you know what I find.

I had to switch my ATC type in the config over to work with FSC. Default on the G and H for mine was CONI.
