Hi Dutch,
First of all I would like to thank you for your work. It's been almost a week since I downloaded FSCaptain and I'm really happy with it and its potential. I have played around as much as I could and I definitely think it is worth buying.
But there is one little thing that is pulling me back, though I'm aware that maybe it's somehting wrong with my FS since few people have reported the same problem.
The thing is:
- FSCaptain (or FCOM) is supposed to adjust itself to the sim rate. But from what I have seen on my Fs9 this is correct only when pre-boarding and everything related with departure and arrival time.
What I mean is: if aircraft is not ready for boarding, let's say we're 5 minutes ahead of it, I can set my sim rate to 4x and check that FSCOM countdown for boarding is indeed adjusted to 4x (it behaves accordingly)
In addition, I have used a couple of times a sim rate of 2x while on cruise on long flights with absolutely no problems whatsoever. That is, I've never got penalty points for arriving too early or late.
- But FSCaptain is not adjusting itself to the sim rate when loading the plane (Payload, as fuel is almost instantaneous) and during the onboard service. These two tasks are carried out in real time, thus I'm always getting penalty points for poor service and really disappointed passengers.
If you can help me to sort this out, I'm more than willing to buy a full license.
Thank you very much for your attention, you're really doing a great job.
P.S: I am using the latest version (1.1.4, demo license) under FS9.1, FSUIPC 3.93 (unregistered) and Windows XP (SP3)
Sorry if sometimes my message seems a bit confusing, English is not my language.
