I'm using FSCAI from a couple of years ago, so it's the old 64 bit version.
The aircraft I'm flying is Ants Trojan.
I have weapons damage in options turned off.
I have weapons damage in Tacpack turned off, but my weapons can damage AI units.
I see that after a bomb run my controls lock up.
With damage off, I'm wondering what's causing this lock up. Elevator and aileron are locked, engine throttle, mixture and prop are free.
Turning off FSCAI does not cure the lock. I have to quit the mission.
I'm using Simdirector to script the mission and run it in P3d4.5.
Anyone else see this?

When I get hits from ground fire, even with damage disabled, the aircraft will lock up elevator and aileron. The way to unlock the controls is to quit Chaseplane and reboot it. This removed the lockup! So for anyone with this issue and using Chaseplane, that's my findings. As to how it's affecting the aircraft controls, I have no idea. But it's another example of separate add ons not always playing well with other add ons! Cheers.

The way to unlock the controls is to quit Chaseplane and reboot it. This removed the lockup! So for anyone with this issue and using Chaseplane, that's my findings. As to how it's affecting the aircraft controls, I have no idea. But it's another example of separate add ons not always playing well with other add ons! Cheers. Wow, that is very weird. I am using your two year old version of FSCAI, with the notepad editor. I tried exiting FSCAI but that made no difference, stick was still locked up. So two main programs running were Track IR and Chaseplane. Track IR made no difference, so that left Chaseplane. Now I'm flying Ants Trojan. This sim has custom c++ programming and a unique view system that won't work with any view program, either Ezdock or Chaseplane. So I surmise it's a combination of Chaseplane and Trojan? As to why the ailerons and elevator should freeze?? I even disabled FSCAI damage and Tacview damage, which made no difference either. Bottom line is, these Sims are full of different programs all resident in memory and ready to spoil someone else's program.😜
