hi,
1) I think that the "doors being open" message which is generated when stationed close to a refueling station is annoying, it prevents you from starting your flight. Something sould be done about it.
2) When a failure is detected at the ramp , you are prevented from starting the flight. It should be possible to override that failure indication as a captain is entitled to do in real life
3) There is no way to read the failure code while airborne, only when the flight is completed (I may be wrong, but I have not yet found how to do it). it should be possible to read the failure code at any time
Hope this helps

I get that sometimes too - the simple solution is to SHIFT-E which will close the doors and remove the message. Or it seems to work for me, anyway.
Actually there are some failures that will permit you to continue, and others which will force you to terminate. You can't, for example, continue with a hydraulic failure or an engine out -- but you could with a failing RMI or Mag Compass.
Yes there is ... check out "Options for All Airlines", in the failure percentage section there's an option "Display Failures on FCOM". Click that and when a failure occurs it will display the code in red underneath the header on each page.
Hope this helps, Dutch

no offense to the OP but turning on Display Failures on FCOM - isn't this a bit like "cheating"? in real life wouldn't the pilot be able to tell what happened if doing close inspection of systems?

Hi, No offense taken I asked for that because sometimes I can't start one engine and can't figure out why (DC3c which I know very well by now). I have to reload everything.
