The upgrade to FSCaptain 1.1 is available on the website www.fscaptain.net now. All reported problems with the beta have been fixed, the primary weather provider is now Jeppeson, and the airport database rebuild routines have been re-written. This major upgrade will change the way you use FSCaptain. It's now much easier to schedule flights in the Administrator and then start then when you enter the cockpit and login to the FCOM. Timing on scheduled flights is no longer an issue. You still have to be at the right airport in the right aircraft type. But the dispatch process doesn't allocate an airplane to you, just a type. It's also very easy to fly the type of flight you want -- no more complicated rules on airplane type or pilot preferences. Whatever you pick on the screen is what you'll see. Your selection on the Flight Dispatch tab will override all other considerations even aircraft configuration. As requested in the Ideas board, an MS flight plan can be included in the dispatch planning process. Weather data is obtainable from inside the sim or from the internet. I hope you enjoy the new features. Dutch
