Just had an odd one. Had a medical emergency but the timing of it was weird in that I was on finals about 30 seconds away from landing when it happened. So I’ve got my FO telling me I might want to start looking for a nearest airfield and then after I had landed and was now taxiing my crew were telling me it had got worse and I need to land quickly.
No idea about how failures are generated but if that one could have an exclusion of not being allowed after a top of descent call perhaps then you wouldn’t have that situation where what was happening and what I was being told didn’t seem to match up.
