I'm having the same issue, and I have know idea what the other thread is saying. I'm trying to fly a B735 - Wilco Feelthere Boeint 737-500. I'm at the right airport and presumably in the right aircraft, but I still can't use a committed flight.

I assume if all identical " DEP/DES, airplane. Commitments flight will appear in FCOM. I tried and Flight appeared in FCOM.
I wish it should be a "F" button to select the "Commitments" flight.

Open the aircraft.cfg file for the aircraft you are committing and look in the GENERAL section for atc-model and note its value. Now, in FS Admiistrator go to the Aircraft Characteristics tab and load the aircraft file with the same name as you found in atc-model. Look at the TYPE field on the top left. Is it the same as atc-model??

Every thing matches up. Aircraft config ATC-Model=B735, Aircraft characteristics in administrator is B735. I scheduled a flight from KHOU to KLIT. When I fire up FCOM, it tells me that I'm in a B735 Southwest Aircraft @khou and that I have one commitment but I'm only allowed to view it. If I go to Select mission, my scheduled flight is the first one that shows up as usual.
I'm also using FSX.
Thanks

I tried it with a different aircraft, an A320, still the same. I can see my two commitments, but can't fly them.
I did notice that when I review my commitments under Aircraft it says B735- and A320-. Would that make a difference. I don't see where the minus sign shows up in the aircraft config nor the admin aircraft config.

It's based on aircraft type code. If you book a flight with a A321 you have to be in an A321 to pick it up, not an A320 or A319.
That's if it's working properly. It sounds like something else is blocking your progress. Others have reported similar problems and I'm working on it.
Hope this helps, Dutch

When you open the Aircraft Characteristics tab in the administrator, is the TYPE field the same as the atc-model in the FS aircraft.cfg file or does one have the dash at the end?

They match.
They both say B735 and A320. No dash.

Apparently we have no solution.

Let's try this.
Open the FS aircraft.cfg file and look at title=something in the fltsim.0 section. Is this title the same as what you are selecting from the drop down in the FSCaptain Administrator?

Doesn't work. Still shows I'm in a A320- or B735-
Hopefully it will be resolved before the non-beta version comes out.

Windows, and Windows programs, can really be mysterious way too often.
