Dear Dutch,
Do you know what could be the reason for this message. I clicked on Rebuild Airport Database and get the message "We didn't have enough room to process all the folders"?

Dutch,
I have version 1.1.0 running (installed the beta update) - will this feature still be added to the 1.1 beta?
Another problem I am having is that FSX crashes soon after activating the "normal load" function - I am running SP2, what is the best way to troubleshoot this e.g. is there a log file I can refer to? I have tried :
-changing aircraft -resorting to default scenery only -rebuild of fsx.cfg file -reinstalling FSCaptain -virus check -reinstall of FSUIPC
but am not able to pinpoint the cause yet

Thanks for the good news Dutch.
Any ideas about the crashing of FSX with FSCaptain or log files or how to best troubleshoot - could it be related to the incomplete database issue?

It may very well be connected, in the sense that the database is too large to be handled in the current version. We'll see if the problem goes away with larger database structures in 1.1

Dutch,
I have found that when choosing ferry flight, no crash occurs. When I choose the "Destination" option, then soon after either normal or manual load the sim crashes. I am using FSCaptain primarily with the PMDG 747 (PAX) and have set the Load Map to ignore Auto Payload and Auto Fuel....

Thanks! That is a valuable clue. It's really, really hard to find problems when I can't reproduce them....

Hi Dutch,
You suggest above that the release will be in the next few days - anything update on this or something else I can try as I am only able to use ferry mode for the time being,

I am hoping to get 1.1 out soon, but problems the download of weather data from the Internet is causing snags.
If I can't get past this soon I'll release a 1.00.05 with this and some other problems fixed and get 1.1 out as soon as the internet downloads are stable.

Hi Dutch,
Glad to see you back on the forum - thanks for the update and great to hear that you are working on the weather download function, despite the hassles it's causing.
Take your time with sorting this out, when it's ready, it's ready and until then I will look forward to the update to hopefully also fix the crash problem related to me having too many folders.

Dutch, Its good to hear from you. An idea, will you consider to adjust the missions and make an airport library changes based on type of aircraft "Heavy" "Medium "and "Light". It will be more realistic if 767 flights use major airports instead of General Aviation. Regards Sanal
