I am still using Ver 1.00.04 and flying for DC3Air, Cargo runs with DC3C I keep thinking I have the right box checked to hear the ALT Callout's on Landing. but no Luck.  Which Adm tab do I need the enable GPWS set  The Aircraft Char tab? or the Options for all Airlines I must have something set wrong? Last night I made Flt 905 Cargo run from KHUF to KSTL in DC3C I Lost my ILS approch to Rwy 12L. May have landed on wrong Rwy? Question? Do you have to Fly a ILS Approach to hear GPWS callouts? You don't have to fly an ILS for GPWS. To hear it you must have the setting "enable GPWS" set in Options for All Airlines, you must NOT have the setting "Has a GPWS" set in the aircraft characteristics, either the standard characteristics for a type or a load map for a specific airplane.
If these things are true you should hear the callouts when landing.

Dutch,
OK Set Options for All Airlines GPWS box a check. ON.
Remove DC3C has GPWS check box off.
I don't understand the Load tab at all.

Dutch, NO Cigar on my GPWS Alt call-out on landing. Just not sure when it stopped working I know it used to work. I feel like the Lone Ranger on this forum flying Props. I have a feeling most of guys are flying heavy Iron. FSX.  Just set up a short cargo run Flying for my created DC3AIR. Flying FS9, Flying the DC3 Airways 2007 DC3C. Here is my settings on the Adm ver 1.0.4 Tabs Options For All Airlines have GPWS On "check" On the Aircraft Char tab with DC3C set Equipped with GPWS set NO. I took off from KIND Rwy 5R on my cargo flight and called for a emg Landing flew the pattern back to Rwy 5R and flew a ILS Approach. But no Alt call outs on Landing. Any idea what I am doing wrong. Any error files files I can check in FSCaptain Folder. Thanks for any help. Lane |

Dutch,
Should I load beta 1.01 and try to get the GPWS to work? Or just forget about trying to GPWS to work.
All I know is that it was working a few weeks ago and not now? I suspect it something I don't have set right.

You’re not alone. I’ve not got a GPWS either.
I’m on FS9, XP and version 1.04 flying DM Flight Sim's Trident. (which is brilliant by the way. best freeware aircraft I've seen)
Options for all airlines – Enable GPWS – Ticked
Aircraft characteristics – Equipped with GPWS – Not ticked
Load Map (don’t have one for my aircraft anyway) – Do not play GWPS callouts – Not ticked
