I have the suspicion that the airport database isn't built as it should.
A clean FSX install gives me 24013 airports. After having installed all FTX packages and the OZx airports (with corresponding bgl files to make them selectable in FSX), and after having installed Austria Professional X (which adds some small airports as well), the database now contains 24023 airports, that's just 10 more.
Actually, OZx should add app. 100 new airports to FSX (and update 200 more).
This is a german installation of FSX, residing on the D: drive. Paths to the scenery.cfg is c:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX
Two examples for airports not found in FSCaptain, but in FSX or in Flightsim Commander after a database update:
YZEM LOGG
The problem isn't just in the beta build, it has been encountered in V 1.04 as well.

I'll take a look and see why some airports might be missing. The missing ones are all modified airports and not base ones?
thanks Dutch

Correct. I can understand why most OZx airports aren't included, since they only have a location, but no runway definition. But with Austria Professional X it is different. The airports are complete with runways and ATC.
BTW, they do not reside in "Addon Sceneries" - they have their own subfolder under FSX (as all aerosoft products have, btw).
If you need my scenery.cfg, just give me a yell. Or any other file :-)

Just some additional info: Here's the start of the buildlog.txt:
Starting Airport Rebuild with dirmax at 16384 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\;44 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Addon Scenery\;53 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\aerosoft\;70 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\atpx\;77 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Autogen\;77 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Categories\;77 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\charts\;78 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Config\;78 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Dialogs\;78 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Disposition\;78 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Effects\;79 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Flight One Software\;82 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Flights\;84 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Fonts\;84 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\FriendlyPanels\;84 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\FSCaptain\;91 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\FSWeb\;95 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Gauges\;96 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Lessons\;102 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Licenses\;102 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\messages\;109 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Missions\;124 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Modules\;124 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\MyTraffic\;133 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\ORBX\;136 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\OZx\;139 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\propdefs\;139 D:\MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR X\Rewards\;139 Progress 1/100 Count 258
It seems that the program actually looks into the folders, but doesn't add some airports. Could it be that it doesn't look into further subfolders? ATPX (which is Austria Professional X) contains some subfolders (atpx_wien, for example), and THEY contain the scenery with the .bgl files...

It should be looking at every single folder in the FSX subtree and I believe it does. There may be some bug in the interpretation of the airport data. I'm trying various addon airports to see if I find one it doesn't see.
