I have recvd 'Self Test Failed' when I try to start up FSCaptain..DEBUG MODE..then it says this acft type B738 is not configured etc...the program permits me to continue but I dont think it is working correctly. Appreciate your assistance in finding a possible soloution best regards

Self-test fail means it can't find its configuration files in the expected place (FSCaptain\Config).
This usually means a messed-up installation, or massive security issues with UAC if Vista or 7.
Best bet would probably be to re-install. This won't destroy any log data you may have out there -- but if the configuration is missing the log data may not be there either. Hard to tell without looking.

did the reinstall and have been able to get the program to find the config..kept saying it did see it and had I installed FSCaptain..Anyhow was able to finally make a trip that was recorded and will now be able to hopefully finetune my handling of the program..Thanks for your splendid effort to make FltSim MORE ENJOYABLE.
