Hello.
I am running an unregistered, trial version of FSCaptain. I have created a simple schedule from KPDX to KSAN - Flight 47 departing at 2000 in a 738 (Large). The airline I created uses a 738, no check ride, passenger jet (Large). The time constraint is 4 hr 00 mn.
When I start FCOM it is 1940 at KPDX. I choose F1 Select Mission. The screen tells me there are no flights available from KPDX at 1940 but flight 47 to KSAN will be at 2000. I am within the 10-60 minute window to begin the flight. Why isn't it offered? I even change the time to 2000 and then it tells me there are no flights available at KPDX.
I have also allowed Administrator to create a hub schedule for KPDX. I get the same result. There are no flights available from KPDX but flight xx is available at xxxx. The time available is usually within 15 minutes or so.
I can't seem to create a flight in schedule that allows me to choose it in FCOM although I believe the flight should qualify. What am I doing wrong?
Thank you for your help. John

Hi John, Sorry you're having a bit of difficulty we'll get it sorted out. I set up this same flight you described and it appeared okay, so it's probably some little detail. Here are some things to check over. To qualify a scheduled flight must meet these criteria: - Within time window. I set mine up as "Pilots must arrive no earlier than 45 minutes and no later than 10 minutes before departure." (The passenger boarding time doesn't affect whether you see the flight or not.) In this window 19:40 should definitely put you in line to fly a 20:00 departure.
- Correct size airplane. Have you tried setting the schedule to "Tiny" and see if that solves it?
- At the correct airport. You didn't put say KPDK rather than KPDX did you? I've done stuff like that!
- Days of week must match. If you haven't, try putting zero in the ways of week (that's all 7 days).
Those are the only criteria. Time constraint does not apply to scheduled flights -- you'll be presented any flight that meets the criteria above regardless of ETE. Check ride isn't affecting you either. Experiment changing each of those factors until it appears and get back to me if it doesn't -- and let me know what FS version and FCOM version you are running. Hope this helps, Dutch

Thank you Dutch for your suggestions. My flights are with the default 737-800. 1. My time window is set to "Pilots must arrive no earlier than 60 minutes and no later than 10 minutes before departure." 2. If I select NONE for the plane size I see this I have also noticed that if I select LARGE for the plane size in schedule that the NEXT FLIGHT line disappears and it recommends I try a different aircraft. Strange. 3. Yes...I verified that I have KPDX in the schedule. 4. Days of the week are set to 0... I am running Windows Vista64, FSX with SP1 & SP2 with FSCaptain version 1.04 Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling FSCaptain? Thank you again for your help. John

FURTHER EDIT.
I have uninstalled FSCaptain and reinstalled fresh. The program is working fine now! ;D
I am now able to select a flight that I had scheduled through Administrator. It must've been something gone awry when installing.

I am having the same exact issue and I have tried to reinstall but no luck. I have it set up 60 10 for the report times and I show up within the window and it says sno flights available, the next flight is at 0700 (I am within 40 min of that time) and it says to check my time and aircraft...I am in the CRJ (medium, which is the min setting) when I select none it says the CRJ does not qualify

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. My software: FSX, FSCaptain registered 1.0.4, HUB=LEMD with 120 flights scheduled. I´m within range, aircraft correct (PMDG 747=Heavy selected in scheduled flights), and I can´t see none of the flights I have created!! Another thing: would it be possible to limit de distance of the flights presented? I usually have time only to flight 1-1:30 hours, between 200-300 miles, (my children needs so much time )so I can´t afford flights 800-900 mn long, wich are the ones usually presented in FCOM. It would be great if you could limit the distance (I have done it in the HUB I created, but I can´t see the flights in FCOM, as I explained sooner). Many thanks and congratulations for your great job with FSC. Greetings.

Dash and Rainman,
In the next day or two a beta for version 1.1 will appear on the website offering a new and much easier way to start a scheduled flight. It doesn't require you show up at the airport within a time window.
I think this might be the best solution to your problems.
