I was rolling for take off with my DC3 C when I heard a loud bang, lost engine 1 for unknown reason. Engine 1 would not restart. I could not cancel the flight at this stage, went back to the ramp. Set the parking brake, shut down engine 2, and only then was offered the flight cancel option.
What bothers me is that at no time FCOM told me what the failure was
