Is there an issue with the sizing of these two windows? All the tabbed windows in the Administrator are truncated at the left and bottom? Or is it my pc? I've tried different resolutions, but it remains the same. Thanks, pj Attachments:

I see...hmm, it is some kind of Windows setting but I can't think of what off the top of my head. I use XP here so I really know know the ends and outs of Vista and up (but I am learning fast thanks to FSCaptain!)

It looks like the font used in the Admin window in your example isn't the default Tahoma but a somewhat larger Arial and the expanded size is pushing everything off to the left and bottom.
Still working on this... Dutch

Yes, but I don't know where. I have tried reproducing this by making my fonts bigger on my machine but it doesn't fail...I need to try it on the Vista machine now...

I'll do some digging, too, (Win 7) and will get back to you.

Maybe try using the default theme? Works fine on my Win7.

I'll play with it tonight, Tim. I have it on Performance mode, which is very XP like, with no themes at all.

Soooo... in Win7 one has the ability to "Adjust the font size"... One has three choices - small, medium or large, plus there's a manual, sliding scale if one wanted to get somewhere in between. However - it doesn't just adjust the font size - it also magnifies the size of the icons, and it's very like the old Windows system of changing the resolution from 1024 x 768 down to 640 x 480. Everything gets bigger. It does fix fix our problem, though, Dutch - I guess everyone thus far runs Win 7 in the medium bracket. (I hate big icons). That being said, there is probably a different approach which we've yet to find. I'm in IT (but handle Solaris 10 unix systems), but I have good support connections, so I'm sure we can find a solution. Meantime - I 'll go back to playing with your new invention!
Edit: I guess another monitor hooked to the second display port would work, wouldn't it? pj

Seems one has to rt-clk on the desktop, selecting "Personalize" ->"Display"->"Medium". This gets us the right size to see the Administrator screens properly, Dutch. Then one rt-clks the desktop again, selecting "View"-Small Icons".
Problem fixed!
Many Thanks,
pj

Hi Guys, My problem is similar, but it's from an other point of view. My notebook has a display with 16:9 and i can't see the OK,Cancel or Apply buttons. I cannot drag the window anywhere for matching to screen. So i need to rotate it then push "Apply" then rotate back (it's not a correct solution). Can you help me? Thx in advance, regards, Tom Attachments:
