Dutch:
I am a GA flyer so I thought I'd try the Flight 1 Cessna Mustang. When I open the FCOM Installer, the Mustang is not in the aircraft list. I thought all aircraft in the Airplane folder would be included. Is there some other requirement for inclusion?

They all should be, but you are the 2nd person reporting an aircraft missing from the installer list. So something is causing a few airplanes to not be seen by the installer. I'm not sure what it is yet, I'm working with another person to try and isolate the problem.
I may get this fixed by tomorrow, or I may have a few questions for you, but right now it's time for bed <yawn>

Dutch: After a little more research, it appears that the missing aircraft are from folders whose name is of the form xx_something. I am missing F1_Cessna Mustang, F1_PC12 and MD_83. Majentajim above is missing F1_Super80 Hard to believe it's coincidental. Tom

Good observation, I'll rename one and see if that will make it break.
I have been playing around with folders and configurations trying to change them so they aren't seen, with no luck yet.
It also seems there's a lot of Flight1 products on that list...

Tom,
I am about to get this one, after studying the process the installer goes thru I believe the problem lies in the layout of the aircraft.cfg file for these airplanes. Could you send me -- dutch@fscaptain.net -- a copy of an aircraft.cfg and the matching panel.cfg for one of those planes it's not seeing? I'm 99 percent sure that'll enable me to find and fix this problem.
thanks for your help, Dutch

Dutch:
The files are on the way. I manually modified the panel.cfg to add the FCOM. It seems to be working. Though I may have missed something.

The newest version of the User's Guide -- use the download link on the right side of the website -- has instructions on how to manually install the FCOM, if you didn't use them you might want to review them against what you did. If you did follow them you didn't miss anything.
Thanks for the files.
