Hi Dutch, I was thinking it would be a cool idea to add hydroplaning, like you added ice on runways. Whenever +RA is reported, or TS/CB reading from the wx engine file, there could be the possibility of hydroplaning, related to the speed of the plane (and its size of course), maybe even to the rate of touch down (smooth touch down resulting in higher hydroplaning possibility). Maybe differentiating right/left braking efficiency to cause the plane moving ..well, not straight! Cheers Fede

I like the idea! If it goes life, I'll officially rename one of my planes to "Puddlejumper".. or may be just "Frogger"?

Runway contamination exists in FSC. When on final approach and FSC gives you clearance, the runway braking conditions it gives you is not for show. try flying in heavy rain or snowy weather and see the runway conditions become poor. When conditions are poor, FSC alters your braking performance causing an increase in stopping distance. hope that helps.

yeah, but it would be cool if the aircraft starts sliding if too much brake pressure is also applied. I wonder if FSC would be able to do make your aircraft slide

Ya that would be nice but that is a FSX limitation. Have you noticed that wheel friction is FS is limited to rolling friction in longitudinal direction? If you over steer, nothing happens but in real life you will definitely notice something happening.

I was afraid of that. Oh well, maybe someday when flight simulators get more advanced. I wonder if Prepar3D has the same limitations.
