Not really a bug, but I have a question regarding how the FCOM designates fuel loads. Flying the Connie and the PMDG 747 which both have particular fuel management constraints, when the FCOM assigns fuel loads for a flight, it seems to never empty a tank, just take them down equally to obtain a desired total fuel load. This is fine in a DC-3 or whatever, but trying to take off in a L-1049G just to have my outboard engines fail on takeoff when Tanks 1 and 4 go dry is annoying. Also, the 747 starts shooting off warning bells left and right about not being in CG limits. Looking at the FCOM Administrator, I can see where the fuel loads can be prioritized and I have tried adjusting them, but don't seem to make any progress. What are the parameters it is looking for and how would I go about adjusting it, so that it empties tanks sequentially down a list, leaving main tanks for last?

It's all dependent on the fuel tank mapping, and there were errors in the Connie maps that bit me when I tried to fly it. The maps in the "Fix to Connie fans" is correct as far as I know for the 1049 (g/h) and the 1649A.
The mapping is what the FCOM knows about the fuel tanks in the airplane, and the priority number is which tanks to fill first, etc. For the connie, tanks 1-4 (on the 1049 this is center2, center3, external1, external2) should fill first followed by the others in the order listed in the map. It's kinda complex but so is the Connie's fuel system...

OK, that makes sense, it was flummoxing me on how it all went together, but I think that is because I was trying to over think it. Thanks for the help.
