Hi,
when I want to fly to EPLB airport (Lublin, Poland), after entered destination in “Specify Flight Details” window (and other settings), press OK, and I get a message:
Destination ICAO was not found in the airport database.
How can I add this airport to FSCaptain?
REBUILD AIRPORTS DATABASE option didn’t help.

EPLB replaced EPSW, which can be found in Config\Airports.cfg . Normally a scenery update should automatically add EPLB to your FSCaptain setup, but some freeware sceneries (especially for FS2004) are not recognized. You could try to enter EPLB manually to the above file (make a backup first).
Cheers, Peter

I have payware EPLB (from Polish Airports by Drzewiecki Design), anyway, I will try as you suggest. Thanks, Peter. Edit: Wow, but what do I have to put in this file? Entries structure is quite complicated: EPSW,3609,0,0,0,51.231979,22.690325,Swidnik,664,Poland Maybe I can rename EPSW->EPLB and rename Swidnik->Lublin?

ok, so I added:
EPLB,8268,1,1,1,51.142500,22.424900,Lublin,***(?),Poland,
but I don't know what should I enter after "Lublin"? What does "IsStockScenery" mean (as Travis wrote)? I don't have default scenery...

Make that variable zero then if it's not from the stock scenery. Shouldn't make much of a difference either way.

Hmm, I paste: EPLB,8268,1,1,1,51.142500,22.424900,Lublin,0,Poland,...and still have "Destination ICAO was not found in the airport database." What I'm doing wrong? Ps. In "Options for all airlines" window I rebuilded arpt database.

Hello friends, it’s me again… EPLB problems continues… At first I have to say, I don't remember what am I doing but Dispatcher see EPLB as a destination airport now. However problem begins when I set EPLB as a departure airport. This is my Airports.cfg (extract): [...] EPSU,2094,0,0,0,54.072723,22.899069,Suwalki,584,Poland, EPSW,3609,0,0,0,51.231979,22.690325,Swidnik,664,Poland, EPLB,8268,1,1,1,51.142500,22.424900,Lublin,0,Poland, EPSY,6551,1,0,1,53.481857,20.937691,Szymany,463,Poland, [...]Preparing is ok – I enter departure airport (EPLB), aircraft type, then destination airport (EPBY), service code, etc., next - load flight plan and get weather, corrected enroute winds, etc… Commit. Done. (ps. I run Administrator from desktop shortcut, not via FSX menu) Then I run FSX and go to the airport and choose plane…open ACARS, click LOGIN and see: Ok, so I choose REVIEW OTHER, and see: Hmm, looks ok, I see my flight, but… neither LSK, EXEC on FCDU works … so I couldn’t accept this flight. As you see in above posts, EPLB is an airport which I manually added. Maybe there is error in airports.cfg file? Can you look at this issue? All the best, Lucas

Your cfg file says EPSY, not EPBY. Maybe that's the problem.

No Peter, EPBY is also there:
[...] EPBY,8185,1,1,1,53.096802,17.977669,Szwederowo,235,Poland, [...]

Lucas,
A few years ago (I think it was in 2012), I kvetched enough to Dutch that he gave in and adopted Pete Dowson's MakeRwys format for airport / gate / etc. data.
We no longer have to manually maintain the airports file for FSCaptain - the Administrator's "Options for All Airlines / Rebuild Airport Database" should do so for us.
And as of that switchover, "IsStockScenery" became no longer valid - that value is now the airport's altitude.
--
I'll digress now to say that I have all the Drzewiecki Polish sceneries, btw. As a matter of fact, I have over 700 scenery areas in FSX and/or P3D - too many to keep active at any one time, so I want to disable as many as possible for my flights. But my EFB and my FSCaptain need to know details about all my airports... so I enable all sceneries, disable the ones without any active airport files, then scan them with FSCaptain and EFB.
Then once I have new scans of my new preciouses ( ) I disable the ones I don't need for my current flight so my load time is quick and my VAS doesn't suffer too much. My other utilities have all the data they need.
-- You say that you've ran the Rebuild (since you installed EPLB). I've just re-run my Rebuild, and I have this data in my airports.cfg file:
EPLB,8202,1,1,0,51.240177,22.713434,Port Lotniczy Lublin,633,Poland, EPSW,0,0,0,0,51.231979,22.690325,Swidnik,633,Poland,
In FSCaptain my stock EPSW has a 0ft runway (it's been disabled) although it has a 3609ft runway from stock FSX data. Your EPSW from a few posts ago also indicates a 3609ft runway... which makes me think that either you may not have had EPLB active at the time of your scan, or that you have a more modern-than-FSX EPSW that is also active....
Here is an EFB display of both airports... the darker gray circle is about 3NM radius - these two airports are well within "shouting distance" of one another. ("Shouting" being an... um... clean term. )
I might ask you check that all of your sceneries are active, and to run Rebuild from FSCaptain, and if you still have problems, then I would ask you to ZIP and email me the runways.txt file from your FSX root folder... that file has all the data that's possible to extract from the BGLs -- the stock files and the replacement files, and even the replacement of the replacement files....
And it can be huge - mine is 250MB, and it ZIPs to 36MB. (If you need to post it to a dropbox or fsfiles or some cloud-based file storage, that should be okay.)
