So, if the F-4 worked, this is the way to go... What is different with F-4 and it worked ?
1. The parameters of radar it carries ? 2. The altitude needed for detection ? 3. The parameters of missile F-4 uses ? or maybe 4. The fact that it was not an FSCAI wingman (ie, "controlled" by FSCAI) but instead a "neutral" to FSCAI simobject that was spawned by not using FSCAI (wingman menu or asl script) but another method (CCP) ?
I don't know the answer, since set up of FSCAI files is different (defined parameters) dew to each user's changes, but what I discovered with my tests with my "SAM" Patriot simulation with current fscai built is that :
Case A : Patriot vehicle (shooting the missile) spawned via FSCAI (with an asl mission) : Patriot malfunction - either explodes at moment of spawn or messes up the rest of asl mission.
Case B : Patriot vehicle spawned without using FSCAI for this (FSCAI just weaponizes the vehicle) : everything works as expexted.
So in your place, I would make a test with the A-4s spawned also with CCP and not as FSCAI wingmen...
My Military Flight Videos : FSCAI justifies the presence of Warbirds in FS !... Simple as that. Gives'em back their lost identity : To fly as Warbirds in a Military Operations Simulated environment and do happily what they know & do best... Chris,
I have updated the AI A-4E Skyhawk model to have a more realistic load-out.....so now it has two AGM-45 Shrikes (inboard stations) and and two 19 shot LAU-3rocket pods (outboard stations). The link is the same as before... www.dropbox.com/sh/35zxrdf2ltjk0u0/AAA6cmLx2eI01cwguaJZq6SYa?dl=0 .... and it has one model compiled for FSX and one for P3Dv4. Just rename the model you want to use to "NMAI_A-4EE_Skyhawk_guided" and it should work.
