What’s wrong with the TFDI 717 load map for fscaptain . Everytime I setup my flaps whether it be 11 or 13 for takeoff and it’s set in the dial-a-flap as well, as soon as I autoflight toga , the FSCaptain says “check the flaps!” . Is there something wrong with the load map flap settings ?
This is gettin to be annoying

I'm guessing the flap values reported to the simulator are not what we would expect to see for takeoff. (And that's nothing to do with the load map.)
Just checking the code, and we're looking for any 'non-zero' value....
On your next flight, go to the SYSTEMS screen of the FCDU, then to the second page of that screen. The current "Simulator Flap Setting" should be displayed there. Set your aircraft's flaps for takeoff and note what the values are on the FCDU, and let us know.
Until we can work something our, you can set your Flaps to INOP in your Override configuration file to skip that mis-call. (Of course you'll not get any flap penalties, nor be advised by your FO to check the flaps on landing.)
Best,

Hello Babykoa,
I just checked out the airplane: FSCaptain recognizes the flaps, but I also got a "check the flaps warning". Having said that, I haven't flown the plane in 2-3 years and definitely did not follow procedures, so I am not sure whether it was me or a bug. Can you let me know the minimal procedure when this problem occurs?
Best, Peter
