Hi There,
I am kinda new to the flight sims but love it so far! I came acros this mod and I would love to try it, only I can't find a way to install it while I got the game via the game pass. Do you know a way to still install it or do I have to have a bought copy via steam?
Hopefully you can help me figure it out!
Thanks in advance!

Hi Gamel, First, thank you for your interest in FSCaptain. We strive to apply realistic Air Transport Pilot rules to our flight simulators, and have done so for over 10 years. I'm guessing that you're using the new Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS 2020), and it's an absolute treat to use. However since MSFS has changed lots of behind-the-scene items from earlier flight simulators, FSCaptain currently isn't totally compatible. I'll spare you the details (unless you'd really like to know). We are working to make FSCaptain usable with MSFS, and we hope to have a Public Alpha Version ready within a month's time. (That's a complete guess.) Since we do public Alpha and Beta releases, everyone will have a chance to participate. For non-customers, you will still be able to take off from six airports (EGCC, EGGD, EGJJ, KSEA, KOLM, KPDX) in order to test FSCaptain's suitability for your style of flying. We honor and work with non-customers the same as our customers, as we like to think of non-customers as customers we haven't made a sale to yet. And as MSFS grows and changes, we will change FSCaptain to adapt. We have lots of "possible plans" for the future, and we'll see what materializes.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!! Best regards,

Hello Gamel, I installed MSFS via the X-Box game pass as well and already made successful flights with FSCaptain. However, that only worked because I also have P3D installed, and even then many features of FSCaptain are not available. Give Dutch and Travis (and Asobo) a bit of time and they will find a way to get it running Cheers, Peter
