Is there an option to allow sound from FSCaptain when P3D isn’t my main window that’s open. Sometimes I’ll browse the internet during cruise on my second monitor and P3D still has sound but anything from FSCaptain is now muted. I just don’t want to miss a possible emergency while flying.

Hello Busdriver, I usually fly with the FCDU.exe, which does this automatically. In fact, it is quite nice not to have o listen to the engines all the time, but still not miss anything important Would that be an option for you? Cheers, Peter

Cheers, Peter If that is the solution then certainly I can just do that for the longer flights. I personally dont mind the engine sound on payware aircraft specifically the FSlabs busses and only mute the ATC handoffs

Like Peter, I normally fly with my FCDU.EXE and I have all FSCaptain sounds at all times.
But yesterday I made a P3D4.5-HF2 flight using the gauge and when I had another window "in focus" I could hear P3D sounds, but not FSCaptain sounds. (I have the P3D option to Mute on Lost Focus unchecked.)
That's not what I expect, so I'll try a test in FSX in a day or so to see what occurs there.
FWIW, there's not been any significant change in the audio aspects of FSCaptain for the past year or two, so I'm curious about this....
Best,
