Hello all! Second major posting here on the forum, unfortunately with some problems. I am running FS9, Windows 10 and the latest FSCaptain Release as of this post (1.8.2) - When the FCDU is first opened and turned on, there is no option to Login unless I hit MENU and then INIT RST. Only then will I have the option to login - When the FCDU is first opened and turned on but before logging in, I get consistent stuttering approximately every 2 - 3 seconds. This does not occur after logging in and is consistent across multiple aircraft - After logging in, on my customized 747, the fuel cutoff levers for engines 1 and 4 are turned to IDLE (running position) when they were previously in the CUTOFF position. This only occurs with FSCaptain running but I have not tested it on any other 747 or other aircraft. - The FCDU no longer auto fills my requested fuel quantity, I have to do so manually - The sides of the FCDU display are see-through (see screenshot). This does not happen if I undock the FCDU So far these are the only problems I've noticed. As of yet, I have not had the time to complete a flight with the new release (dang old real life things ) but I am making another attempt tonight. Chris

Hello Chris,
FS9 under Windows 10? That could be tricky. Do I recall correctly that you need to do some tweaks to get FS9 running on that system? Independently of that, you could do a few tests. - Install previous FSCaptain versions (Don't forget to backup your current FSCaptain folder) and see if they work. If yes, then we know the problem is specific to 1.8.2. If no, a Windows 10 update may be the culprit. I have heard that some people had problems with the latest update and Prepar3d in general (not specifically FSCaptain) - Do any other addon programs that you have installed behave correctly?
In any way, send us some logs when you have completed a flight with 1.8.2.
Best regards, Peter

Hello Chris,
Your first four items makes me think that issues with FSUIPC may be happening. If you could send us pairs of FCDU and FSCAPTAIN logs from an older flight (that was uneventful) and from a new flight with your bespoke 747, that would give me something to dig in to.
The 'transparent' bits on the FCDU are odd in themselves, and I need to converse with Dutch about that. It could be a screen-scaling issue with Win 10, but that's my first guess.
Give us a few days on these... I've a few home issues to take care of in the next few days.
Best,
